Insurance Platform Development & API Integration

The lukango website was originally designed and developed in collaboration with the team at Klutch and has since evolved into a sophisticated digital insurance platform supporting a growing range of online insurance products and partner services.

Our ongoing development work has included the creation and enhancement of complex online insurance quotation and application journeys, designed to deliver a seamless user experience whilst integrating with multiple third-party underwriting, pricing and policy management systems. These customer-facing journeys are supported by robust backend architecture, ensuring secure data handling, efficient processing and high levels of reliability.

A significant aspect of the platform is the development of a comprehensive API ecosystem, enabling insurance products and services to be embedded seamlessly within third-party websites, partner portals and affiliate platforms. This includes RESTful API development, secure authentication mechanisms, data transformation services, quotation engines, policy fulfilment integrations and bespoke partner solutions tailored to individual business requirements.

Alongside the core platform, we have delivered a range of custom microsites, white-label partner solutions and integration projects, allowing insurance products to be distributed through multiple digital channels whilst maintaining consistent branding, reporting and compliance standards.

The platform is further supported by a suite of AWS-based services and tools, leveraging cloud-native technologies to provide scalability, resilience and operational efficiency. This includes the use of services such as Amazon EC2, AWS Lambda, Amazon RDS, Amazon S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, CloudWatch and other serverless and managed infrastructure components to support application performance, monitoring, deployment automation and business intelligence requirements.
