He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) and completed
postgraduate studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Dr. Costa underwent
extensive residency training at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center/Montefiore, William
Beaumont Army Medical Center and Vidant Medical Center/East Carolina University.
A fellow of the American College of Physicians and the Society of Hospital Medicine, Dr.
Costa has a deep background in hospital medicine and transitional care, primarily at the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center.

Dr. Costa speaks English and is relatively proficient in Spanish. Outside of the office, he stays.
He is active with exercise and yard work, and he especially enjoys spending quality time with his family.
