I've literally never been as obsessed over anything fictional in my life as I am the Korean drama "Boys Over Flowers". I RAVENOUSLY watched all the episodes and I felt every bit of love and hurt and everything pulsing all the way to my finger tips! (BEST. FEELING. EVER!!!)
I'm literally despondent that there is no more to watch and this fan base doesn't seem to have any good vidders.

I've loved a lot of couples...a lot of really great couples with probably way better writing...but...Jan Di and Jun Pyo are without one single doubt my OTP. And I sincerely hope they are never topped because I don't think my heart could withstand a greater onslaught lol!

I would recommend this show to you all but you will seriously have no life and think about nothing else.

Did find one really good vid that's just...le sigh.
P.S. I'm literally dying of Lee Min Ho withdrawal so I keep queuing up "City Hunter" and "Personal Taste" to watch and then go running away yelling "no No NO!!!" because I know he won't be with Goo Hye Sun and my body, down to the individual cells, rejects the very idea of such craziness. Who's gonna say "Goo Jun Pyo" in the sweetest voice in his other dramas? Who??? Nobody. And I can't deal, lol.

P.S.S And none of very few people who read my LJ probably have ANY idea of what I speak...GAH!!!

Blahhhhhh!

So it's been about umpteen years since I last posted on my LJ. My LJ presence? HUGE.

My brother went in to lay down in his bed today and there was a bat....on his pillow.

Do you even understand the amount of freak out that would have happened had that been me?

Now that I've caused mass heebeejeebees I'm off to watch The Office. I still have like 9 episodes from last season. And apparently I cant sleep. I wonder why.

ETA: So a few minutes ago I notice that all of my cats except my kitten were missing (they usually sleep in my room) So I go out into the hallway and what should I hear but that BAT! making all kinds of noise and I suspected that it was meeting foul play. So I go to the little landing that leads to my brother's room and sure enough, I see one of my cats with the bat in it's mouth and it's coming right for me to show me what it caught. I FREAK OUT and run in my room and slam the door and scream my bloody head off! Soon my mom slams her door and starts screaming HER bloody head off too. My brother then came up and took the bat from my cat's with a pair of shorts. He said it was pretty dead. But how come when he starts to go past my room it starts SQUEEKING?!

AHHHHHHH!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For Jenn - So a girl in the OTH fandom vids Manny and she made this vid after a year of not making vids and I...guh...I cant stand how much I love it!!!

Watching it is probably the most bittersweet, wrenching thing EVER for me. You (non-Manny people) think that I'm exagerating or like being melodramatic, but no. That is just how much I fucking love and adore Manny to this very day . I'm so appreciative that I got to experience them but then I'm like torn asunder by the fact that there will never be another couple like them or one that effects me so viscerally.

Vonnie is a goddess.

I've watched 2 movies recently that were just adorable and awesome. Not like "great works" awesome but just made me feel good.

The first is Penelope. Looooveeeed it! All the actors were great in it and it had some interesting arcs and turns as well as just being a really sweet story.

The second is 17 Again. Yes, this story isn't new but Zac Efron....man is he great!! That dude is just like a big charismatic ball of squee-worthy goodness. I flove him to bits. And he's a great actor. Looooooovvvvvveeee!

It's actually quite good. Slow to get into, but good. So much better written than Twilight.

Like completely fucking looney????? Did they miss the fact that Melanie/Wanda is like a VERY VERY complex, powerful entity/character that would cause even a very skilled actress to dig deep into their bag of tricks just to do her justice? And are they aware that...

I know you guys are thinking this is my huge Sophia bias speaking. And it is to a point. But honestly, if I just watched a handful OTH episodes and maybe caught one or two of Sophia's floppers and knew nothing of what a heinous twat she is, I would still be sick/angry at the thought of such a shitty no-talent man-jawed "actress" playing Melanie/Wanda.

I took one of the hardest finals I've ever taken today you guys and I'm freaking out. I need to get a 92 on it to get a C in the class. I cant get a C-, my program wont except it. Not to mention that you have to have a certain GPA to continue in my program and I'm right on the cusp! ACK!

I'm so nervous!!!!!!!

Maya was a dancing girl bringing Jesus to the Mount of Olives tonight during the Tenebrae service at church. After a minor hair crisis which involved me freakin because I was told to take her totally un-producted hair out of the ponytail (and the subsequent visions of a fro-ed out rat's nest,) I thought she looked really good and danced beautifully!

My poor baby, she got that tooth in the top left of her smile pulled on Wednesday (along with one other) and you can kinda see the gap in these pics. But wait until it comes in, she's going to have a gorgeous smile!</div></div>

1. So I've been sick for the last 4 days with a sinus/allergy bug. It's about the 7th time I've gotten sick this winter. The worst part is when I sneeze 20 times back to back and end up with nasty shit all over. That's not fun.

2. Maya has been having these mental breakdowns lately. It's really scaring me. She just gets so upset. Crying and screaming. And she'll gnash her teeth together and sort of do this frustrated growl while clenching her fists together...and screaming and crying, I feel like her head is going to explode. She's inconsolable. And tonight she told me that she wishes everybody in our house had never been born except her daddy. I guess her dad gets to be the good guy because he never has to parent...ever. Just sleeps and plays Call of Duty 24/7.

And just a couple days ago I was the best ever for getting her a new bookbag, hats and gloves, and the last of the Wimpy Kid books. But a kid's love is fleeting.

3. Okay, dont laugh, but I kind of have a new RL ship. Okay you're gonna laugh anyway, but I watched HSM2 today because I was bored (but it's totally cute, I swear!) and all during it I kinda got a little squee-y that Troy and Gabriella were together in RL. Because Zac and Vanessa are so damn presh!

My only complaint is Vanessa's squicky little voice. It made me want to roll my eyes...a lot.

4. Now onto the last order of business...WTF CW?!?! You just had to have a 7th season of OTH?

Well I'm not watching it. Sorry. It's already the fucking Brooke Show! I cant even imagine next season....

Seriously there is only ONE character that I would give a fuck about next season surrounded by characters and having relationships that I just cant STAND. I love Joy. I've loved her for 11 years. And I think she's a wonderful, marvelous talent. But even she is not enough to keep me interested in this failboat.

I swear I cant watch a single episode of Friday Night Lights without crying. I'm a sucker for this show!

My town is holding a "Biggest Loser" contest during the months of Feb & Mar. My friend Robyn and I are totally going to win!

Some of you guys might not know but I'm a girl scout leader for Zamaya's troop. And now it looks like I might have to be her soccer coach too. I went to the parents meeting for the upcoming spring season and the soccer director mentioned that they still need a U8 girls coach and more privately she said that she'd have to turn away some girls if they didnt find a coach. The sole coach now is probably going to pick and choose from the girls currently signed up. Which is bad news for my girl for two reasons: A.) Even though Zamaya was pretty clearly the 2nd best player on her Fall team, she is kinda infamous for being ....urm, unfocused. And this coach knows this. I have no doubt. So the odds of the coach picking her to be on the team are dubious, and B.) The coach is going to pick all the good players and likely-to-be good players. So whatever girls that are left over are going to form a team that will need a lot of work.

Obviously I've been typing for a while as you all know but trying to type in the postion that the program is teaching me is proving to be very slow and inaccurate. I just got a call from a bill collector (I'm assuming) and she was completely fucking retarded.

Me: Hello.
BC: Is Gregory (my step-dad) there?

BC: Is his wife there?
Me: No. (She took Maya to dance)
BC: Well, I need to speak to Gregory.
Me: He's in bed. (Duh.)
BC: I need you to wake him up. (Bitch, please.)
Me: I'm not waking him up.
BC: I need you to wake him up.
Me: It's not happening.

Then she asked me to take down a number. So I did. Then when I asked her for her name she reluctantly gave it to me but said that when he called back it didn't matter who he spoke to.

Me: If he can speak to anyone then clearly it wasn't that damn important that I should wake him up. (dumb whore.)

The evil show is tonight. I wonder how stupid it will be.

My friends complaints have tainted Merlin for me. So I'm recommending another show. True Blood. Watch it.

A year later....

So I was cleaning Maya's room today and remembered that I had promised to send pictures to a friend of mine months ago about the progress we'd made to it since we've moved in.

We have 5 bedrooms in our house and Maya's is the smallest. So when decorating I wanted to do something that was really girly but not too busy for such a small space. We moved in last November and I think we've made a lot of progress.

Here are some before and after pics that are almost exactly a year apart (I took some last summer when we were thinking about buying)....

This is the view of Maya's room and you step down the little entrance foyer into her room. That big ugly brown thing in the 'before' pic is a wall-monted natural gas heater. Maya's room is an old addtion on an ancient house. So it is the only room that is heated like that. Obviously we trashed the dinosaur heater and got a much smaller, newer, cuter heater.

This is the view as you step into the room and look at the opposite wall. I told Maya that I didn't want her in the pics but she thrust herself in this one at the last second. I guess I should count myself as lucky considering that just minutes before this she was running around in her underwear.

This is the opposite wall of the pic above.

This pic doesnt have a before pic. I just like it because you can see her little chandelier on her ceiling.

They replaced the roof a couple owers before us but not before it caused some damage to celing and wall in this room. We ripped out part of the wall and patched up the ceiling.

This is her closet. It's actaully pretty deep. I don't know if you can tell so much in the pictures. But you actually have to walk in it to get to the clothes. The polka-dot stuff lines the drawers in her dresser too!

This is her bed. It's kinda like a daybed. It doesnt look all that great.There are usually some more pillows but she spilled glass cleaner on them.

Kristen Stewart pisses me off. That bitch makes Sophia look good. How are people going apeshit over that trailer??!? I told a friend that I'd come over and chill later tonight but I just feel like barfing and laying in my bed. I drank waaaaaaaaaay too much gatorade today. I'm filled so full that if I burped I could probably put out a forest fire with the resulting flood.

I took Maya to girl scout camp earlier today. It's her first time away from home....by herself. I'm so nervous that she wont be able to take care of herself. But let me tell you one thing, these girls sure as hell dont rough it like I used to at girl scout camp. Their "cabin" is like a frickin decked out condo. When I crested the hill that their cabin sits on, my mouth literally dropped open. It was like some A-frame architectual looking house. And inside it had vaulted celiings and a big great room with a fireplace...and a huge kitchen! They dont even have to go outside to shower. They have a shower room in their "cabin". What the hell is that!! I had to drag my half dead ass out of bed at the call on this annoying as hell bugle (at the butt crack of dawn mind you) and then haul myself clear across camp to take a shower. I tell you, kids these days have it made!
