Dropbox is an application designed in order to allow you to save all the text documents, videos, images, and other types of files from your machine, and access them in a single folder from other computers, smartphones, or on the Internet, by creating and accessing an account on the Dropbox webpage.
Once the application is installed and your Dropbox account is active, the application automatically creates a folder named Dropbox. Its default location is on your computer Desktop. Afterward, you are able to choose which files you wish to share, by adding them to the Dropbox folder.
In addition to this, all the files located in the "Public" subfolder, which is automatically created in the Dropbox directory, will get their own Internet link. In this manner, you are allowed to conveniently share files even with users who do not have Dropbox accounts.
Moreover, Dropbox offers you the possibility to earn more storage space through its referral system. By inviting your friends to register on Dropbox website, you will gain extra storage space for each referred user.
