Have you ever returned home from a trip feeling like you saw everything
but somehow didn’t fully experience it?

Like the days moved too fast. Too many reservations. Too many trains. Too many things you felt like you “should” fit in because this might be your only time there.

Meanwhile, the moments that stayed with you most were probably something much smaller.

A bakery you returned to every morning. A quiet side street you wandered down with nowhere particular to be. The gelato in the afternoon. Listening to the sound of church bells on the hour.

I’ve spent decades travelling through Europe, and the trips I remember most were rarely the busiest ones.

That’s why I’m deeply interested in the connection between how we plan and how a trip ultimately feels.

And today, I’m finally sharing it with you.

Introducing The Unrushed Itinerary Method

Stone fountain sculpture sprays a stream of water in a softly blurred European setting beside promotional text that reads “Gift for you.” Tablet screen displays “The Unrushed Itinerary Method” with the subtitle “A Values Based Tool for Planning Europe Trips,” highlighting a resource designed to help travelers create a more intentional and relaxed travel experience.

The Unrushed Itinerary Method is one of my monthly gifts for the Close Circle.

It’s a values-based philosophy and planning framework designed to help you experience Europe in a more meaningful, intentional, and connected way.

I poured years of thought, experience, observations, mistakes, patterns, and real travel days into this.

Inside, you’ll find reflections, exercises, prompts, and frameworks that help you slow the planning process down and think differently about what actually belongs in an itinerary.

One of the central ideas inside the Method is something I call anchor moments.

Those experiences that shape a trip. Ones that have meaning to us and things you remember years later.

It’s a gift for my annual paid subscribers.

A heartfelt thank you for being part of the Close Circle.

If you’ve ever felt pulled toward a slower, more meaningful way of travelling Europe, I think this will resonate deeply with you.

And if you’re someone who genuinely loves planning your own trips, but wants to do it with less overwhelm and more intention, I created this with you in mind.

This is also the beginning of something bigger inside the Close Circle.

Moving forward, I’ll be sharing more guides, planning tools, resources, and thoughtful extras designed to support this kind of travel experience. Some practical. Some reflective. All created for travellers who care as much about how a trip feels as where it goes.

If you’re already part of the Close Circle, you can download The Unrushed Itinerary Method below.

And if you’ve been reading here for a while but haven’t joined yet, I’d truly love to have you with us.

For less than the cost of a morning cappuccino (€5.40/month billed annually), you’ll receive access to the growing Close Circle library, monthly gifts like this one, and the more personal side of Dream Plan Experience.

I hope this becomes something you return to before many future trips.
