KANEMATSU
An Office for Building a Vision for the Next Thirty Years
Kanematsu Corporation, a general trading company with a venerable history of over a century, recently undertook a major project – the relocation of its headquarters for the first time in nearly three decades. The aim was to build an original, state-of-the-art workplace designed to support the company’s growth over the next 30 years. Built on the belief that an environment shapes its people, the space is crafted to enable Kanematsu’s employees to envision their future goals through a variety of working styles.

An Office Designing the Boundary Between Work and Life
FRONTIER GRAND Nishi Shinjuku is a next-generation set-up office born in Nishi Shinjuku, which is characterized by its rows of towering skyscrapers. Drawing upon the lush nature that still remains in this business district of Tokyo, DRAFT oversaw the design of everything from the existing building’s facade to the interior, which includes a shared space.
