The application comes with cool snapping and co-ordinate input options, and the system displays dynamic dimensions helping the user to visually check distances and sizes.

DraftIT also gives an option to the user to type in sizes directly and also to snap to end points, intersections, mid points wherein the application identifies the type of snap as the user moves the cursor over it. Dimensioning also becomes very easy with the help of this software, and it also displays relative values of dynamic dimensions from the previous point; however, if there is no previous position then no dynamic dimensions are displayed. What’s more, the user can also define the increment of the dimensions and even multiple entities can be selected and modified as well.

The software also controls the dimension orientation, and overall it’s a versatile CAD application, which comes totally free of cost. Although as in case of any software, it has certain limitations such as non-availability of some snaps like perpendicular & tangent in certain cases.
