[Voice / Music] -- Baby it's Cold Outside

[This blizzard is suddenly interrupted by singing from your journal. It starts off with Fujiko singing.]

I really can't stay, I've got to go away, this evening has been so very nice...

[But it's soon interrupted by a much masculine voice; one belonging to Arsene Lupin III for those who might recognize it.]
I'll hold your hands, they're just like ice.

[Fujiko, for what it's worth, barely misses a beat, just keeps singing on... though suddenly modifying the lyrics a bit.]
Pops will start to worry.
Beautiful, what's your hurry?
He'll start pacing the floor.
Listen to that wind roar. [Seems she's not the only one who can change things around.]
So really you'd better scurry
Beautiful, please don't hurry
Well, maybe just a half a drink more.
Keep singing while I pour.
The neighbors might think - Baby, it's bad out there
Say, what's in this drink - I'd likely go mad out there
I wish I knew how - Your eyes are like starlight now
To break this spell - I'll take your hat, your hair looks swell
I ought to say no, no, no, sir - Mind if I move a little closer
At least I'm gonna say that I tried - What's the sense in hurting my pride?
You really can't stay - Baby don't hold out
[Then both together.]

Ahh, but it's cold outside

[That's enough for Fujiko to pause her singing though.] How did you get in anyway?

Magic babe. [He's trying to be suave and cool... though for Lupin we'll see how long that lasts. Either way Fujiko doesn't buy it much. There's a small sound like she's stifling a giggle and then goes back to singing, after shutting off the recording.]

[ooc: responses can be directed to just Fujiko or Lupin, or both as you wish! Carolers joining in is encouraged!]

Well, I guess it's a little late in the season, [Try a lot late.] but who wants to go windsurfing? I assembled a bunch of boards over the last month, but ahhh I forgot how heavy so many could be! Surely there's some big strong guy who'll come to my rescue?? [Most wheedling tone imaginable while still being sexy. It's a good think it's not video or she'd be batting her eyelashes.]

It'd be such a shame not to use them before it snows, you know~? Especially since then we can go skiing! And hang-gliding! Besides, I really want one last chance to show off this cute bikini I got! [There should really be more than one sentence between wanting to show off a bikini, and talking about skiing.]

OKAY! Get back to me if you want to join in!

ON A MISSION!!!111!!11! [Action or Voice] (partly happened on the 17th)

[Fujiko is mysteriously back from Mallynapping without a seeming hitch. Her abduction was pretty quiet what with her using up most of her bullets, and her return is likewise quiet. However things might be suddenly a little ridiculous. Her guns have been replaced with jelly, squirtguns, and a rubber suction dart gun that flashes a flag whenever it's used that flares "ON A MISSION" If that wasn't strange enough, Fujiko is being... a bit ridiculous. Even for her. Everything is being treated as the height of security. Like she's breaking into Fort Knox. Or trying to sneak through the KGB. Notice a random dash of catsuit rolling by? That'd be Fujiko practically ninja-ing about even though she seems to be doing mundane things. Like getting breakfast. Or simply walking by the fountain -- which has suddenly been turned into an epic game of hide and go seek, and while hiding under and behind the fountain's ledge, anyone trying to get by is getting pelted with jelly or squirtgun water.

While getting her morning coffee, normally she'd just do it like a French cafe, or the way you would expect any normal person to get coffee. Today however, she hooks up a complicated pulley system (When did she have the time?!) and descends down upon the coffee tables to try to steal it before people get back to their seats. Highly impractical? Yes. Lunacy? Perhaps. But she is pretty damn good at it... in a "why would you ever" kind of way.

And meanwhile, jumping from roof to roof, she constantly soars on a random hang-glider. And every so often, snipers more people with jelly. And when she's not in her cat burglar suits of black or dark leather, she's mysteriously wearing army fatigues... which don't blend in well in Luceti. Care to ask what's going on or get pelted with this random madness? And then sometime late at night after all this crazyness she'll make an even weirder voice post which appears to all be some odd code.]

Alpha Delta 1, this is Monica checking in, do you read me? Infiltration successful. The loot's been moved, but the defenses were shockingly weak. Provided the wolf doesn't show up, all shall go as planned. The swordsman is in wolf's bay, but the moon is low. Highrises dip into grasslands, but the Cobra is M.I.A. Copy for the deets on pirates' booty. Blood sapphires in high demand.

[Wait. If you thought THAT was weird... There's a second one following almost instantly.]

Hello denizens of Luceti~ Don't worry about that vault, I'm sure it'll get fixed soon! In the meanwhile, what does everyone treasure most in the world?

[Is that a trap, has she finally flipped her shit? WHO KNOWS. And since when did Luceti have a vault?]

Now she's low on bullets, and in a foul mood.]

Everybody leaves. [BANG!]
Why bother. [Bang bang bang!]

Che. And I finally got my iPod charged to show him... [But she doesn't seem too thrilled.]

Lupin you stupid... All men! All men are just--! [A couple more shots and then finally a sigh as she sits down with a frown and realizes that her journal's been recording. And forces a grin.] Hey~ Anyone in Luceti feel like cooking something good? I don't think I can take another day of finger sandwiches and oatmeal.

[ooc: Feel free to interrupt her shooting (seeing as there's nothing she's shooting *at.*) She won't hit anyone with them, but you can yell at her recklessness nonetheless. After this post/later this evening she'll be mallynapped off-screen. Feel free to find Thompson machine gun casings everywhere.]

'Allo. Welcome to New Feathers and all that. Still, Sokka I know you're busy with engagement stuff, I'm sure. So the others who work at the Smithy, can I get some help melting things down? It's a very big order.

And if anyone there has familiarity with machine gun rounds, that'd be good too.

About this Draft that happens. No one gets taken solo, right? Just at the same time as the others go off? How long can one of their stupid damn experiments go on anyway?

[A quiet mumble finishing it all up.] Thank you. [Though just as she cuts off there's some growling and grumbling about killing the Malnosso. Anyone looking for her might find her back from scanning the forest and mountains for a change and inside the bar. Actually drinking more than just her standard one or two careful sips of wine. Harder stuff at that.]

NO LASER BEAMS!

[And other than that short post, she'll be wandering around Luceti, acting suspicious and "mysterious" and hanging out extra around the barracks.]

[This video starts off at night with enough light to show off three snowman dressed up in clothes that very specifically male without being anything like Lupin, Poon, Jigen, Zenigata, or any of the other men Fujiko would like to forget. Then it shows Fujiko playing with her double Walther PPKs, twirling them around on her fingers and apparently dressed as a cowgirl. She starts up a dance, singing to herself, still twirling the guns around and fires them off between lines in a flashy style more befitting a rodeo show than you'd expect from a Japanese woman.]

Well I went home with the waitress. You know the way I always do~ [Two more shots, one from each gun.]
But how I was to know~ She was with the Russians too!
I was gambling in Havana, when I took a little risk.
Send lawyers, guns, and money. Daddy get me out of this!
I'm an innocent bystander~ [Apparently this induces more dancing to convince herself of it.] But somehow I got stuck
Between a rock and a hard place~ And I'm down on my luck!
Yeah I'm down on my luck.
Oh man, I'm so far down, I ain't ever been up.
I mean, if it weren't for bad luck. If it weren't for REALLY bad luck--
I WOULDN'T HAVE ANY LUCK AT ALL!
[This just sends her firing off her machine guns at the now destroyed snowmen. And their clothes that are completely insalvagable for bullet holes. Finishing that she pulls them up, hides them under the impossibly tight and short dress that shouldn't possibly be able to hide the guns on the holsters on her thighs where they're kept, and then she bounds over to the journal.]

What? Already open...? Haha... my bad. Sokka cutie, looks like I'll need those machine gun rounds after all, hm?

And Tsuzuki, still on for drinks?

Happy Valentine's Day everyone. [She cuts off with a growl mumbling something in Japanese about a certain idiot.] Like I care...

[Fujiko has been raiding the library for the past few days looking for something very specific. Upon finding it, out she rushes, delighted with her discovery, only to remember something very obvious.]

Ciel! I found those books you were looking for. [And how. There's at least 3 Sherlock Holmes books, and a good stack of 20 other books. Anyone want to help the busty chick move those books? The little kid probably won't help that much either.] There were even some others I'd never seen before, but they look like fiction. And I got you Hound of the Baskerville, because it's just a really good book.

Hey, just so I know, if there are any fans of French literature out there, is anyone else here familiar with Maurice Leblanc or Arsene Lupin?

Oh! And Valvalis, I can start whenever you have time. [Aha, that might explain all the wind magic books she's got. Not that she'd necessarily want the company even if she was back in her world, but even if she did want to, she can't even make up some sort of extravagant gig or excuse to call up Lupin and check in on him. Which leads her to taking advantage of the new coastline and exploring down in it in the cold and singing Love Squall to herself.
[While it's well after Halloween, and she could take her costume off now, Fujiko apparently is still sporting the Catwoman look. By choice. She's special like that. Also she appears to be going through an elaborate theft setup to steal... glass gems. Sure they're not valuable, but they are shiny, and they get her point across. What exactly that point is, is another matter entirely.]

Meow. Now witness the purr-fect crime.

[And off she bounds using a rope to cross over the building and slip down inside and return with... a lamp? Well maybe she really needed a light for her cigarettes. Badum-bum-tsh.]

Well now, this whole teleporting thing isn't too bad. If only they could control it they'd make a fortune. Well, not really since "they" apparently don't believe in money. I've never heard of such a thing. So backwards. The idea that "they" could be more enlightented beyond the needs of money is just plain ludicrous. Oh well! They don't know what they're missing.

I haven't gotten to explore all of this place yet, so anyone wind up somewhere interesting from this? Come on! Share the juicy details please!

Oh, right. I'm Fujiko Mine if I haven't met you yet. New Feather extraordinaire. And if anyone happens to know of a Lupin III, don't tell him I'm here.

[And anyone catching all this via audio (she's provided both options, feel free to ask her why) they can catch a few bars this being hummed in the background.]

OOC PERMISSIONS POST PLEASE REPLY!

Hey remember all those permissions posts a while back? XD have another.

To introduce; Fujiko is a master thief, entirely kleptomaniac, and more than used to using her charms to get her way. She won't be using her guns often (And she will instantly go get them before too many people can so much as SEE them there.) for lack of bullets. But given her empathetic/thieivng/wily nature, I like to have somethings clear in advance and it's good for CR, hopefully, yes?

For stealing purposes, Fujiko loves shiny things, rare things, and valuable things best. Since everything's free, she mostly be going after things that catch her eye. Which would often be personal items. Which is why I desperately need your help! PLEASE AND THANKS!!

1. Can she steal from your character(s): y/n.
-If so: (If not, just delete the rest/any part that's inapplicable)
- What:
- Value:
- How personal is it?
- Is there a story attached?
- Curses?
- To what lengths will your character go to get it back?
- Are there magic items she can steal from your character(s)? / Would it be obvious how to work it? (note: she would not usually know and it might take her a while to figure out, assuming she doesn't stash it.)
- Vehicles? She's especially fond of motorcycles and anything fast or that can fly.
- Can she break into your character's shops/personal space? (Note, she won't bother with apartments/houses unless she's told of something specific there, but the shops she's a lot more likely to nose through to get one of the above)

2. How much can she flirt with your character? (and/or would you rather she didn't)
- Is your character vampiric?
- Is your character slightly animal/werewolf/only half-human?
- Is your character mafia related?
- If your character is female, she'll only do it to get something from other guys in the area.
- If she is allowed to flirt, would your character likely get attached and get upset when they find out she's just a tease and possibly using them? (ooc totally okay with me, and happens a lot to her in canon.)
- Can she tie them up to bed posts and leave them there?
- If she gets too worried can she hit them with her boxing glove on a spring trap? About :24 in
- Is your character likely to set off her apartment's insane security and bear traps? (yes... bear traps. They're painful.)

3. For animal characters, Can she love all over them?
- She gets along best with wolves, "monsters", and anything bigger than a wolf (in canon, polar bears, reindeers, tigers, lions) -- she has a toss up with small cats, as many of them creep her out.
- Is she allowed to be instantly clingy to them?
- Are they likely to bite if she is (at which she'll try to be more calm):
- Can she sing to them? (It's been known to have Disney effects, and summon the Loch Ness Monster~ With love) and/or Will this make them tell her to shut up? (she'll get depressed)

4. Can she hack your journals/threads/etc. How about thread-jump?
While obviously I won't go for the ones locked 100%...
- Are your characters really as skilled at the locking as banks and the Pentagon
- Is she allowed to hack lulzy things that have no REASON to be hacked?
- Can she be annoying and everywhere and threadjump at the most random things? (she's nosy and this is pretty much literally why Jigen hates her so much)
- Can she sulk about not being involved on random things that don't concern her? (more an ooc permission than for IC purposes)
- How violently will your character(s) react after a point/what's the breaking point? (she will back off when it gets super serious)

5. Is your character likely to back Fujiko into a corner she'd have to fight?
- Is it something she probably did? (stealing/nosiness/see above)
- Could they get through her (many many many) traps?
- Would they try to lure her/trap her? (totally easy to do. Just put down shinies. It's like a mousetrap.)
If so, how?
- Would she be forced to use her (SUPER LIMITED) bullets? AND is she allowed to with your character(s)? Would it even work on the character? (Note: For vampires/werewolves, she DOES carry silver bullets, Lupin III is a weird series, and she has met the original Dracula.)
- Is your character a master swordsman / can they deflect bullets? (she's scared of this type the most)
- Is your character a martial artist / how good are they? ((Nudity warning: Fujiko is talented))
- Would your character be willing to blackmail her/strike up a "join me and I'll use you" deal to save her life?
- Good or evil, can that character be double-crossed when/if she switches sides?

6. Is your character likely to intimidate her?
- Is your character a cyborg/robot? (Even friendly ones will scare her some)
- Are they nazis, zombies, timid themselves? (Those do not scare her much)
- Superpowers she would easily find out about through nosiness/journals/word on the street?
- Would your character be likely to use this on her?
If so: Fujiko can go in to babble mode when scared, literally in the manga speech bubbles overflowing with "babble" usually I try to keep it to a minimum because it ticks people off. Is a little bit of TL;DR okay or would you rather I just put in brackets, [Insert babble here.] and stick to important things only? -- She also does it to throw people off the trail etc.

7. Can she see through other character's disguises? Can your character see through her lies?
It isn't a magic power, just part of being one of the world's best thieves
- Lies? (she's actually pretty gullible so it has to be something she's bluffing/serious on/emotional)
- In seeing through other people, she gives some of herself away, would that character be able to use it and see through parts of her in return?
If your character can see through her lies
-- Completely allowed to a degree. Fujiko tends to wing a lot of stuff, and even truth serum is shown in canon not to get her to always tell the truth. SO, please let me know which characters can and the extent of which! Also, is it allowed that some of her lies can still be tucked away? She piles them on ad nauseum.

<b>1. Can she steal from your character(s):</b> y/n.
-<i>If so:</i> (If not, just delete the rest/any part that's inapplicable)
  - What:
  - Value:
  - How personal is it?
  - Is there a story attached?
  - Curses?
  - To what lengths will your character go to get it back?
  - Are there magic items she can steal from your character(s)? / Would it be obvious how to work it?
  - Vehicles? She's especially fond of motorcycles and anything fast or that can fly.
  - <b>Can she break into your character's shops/personal space?</b>

<b>2. How much can she flirt with your character?</b> (and/or would you rather she didn't)
   - Can she tie them up to bed posts and leave them there?
   - If she gets too worried can she hit them with her boxing glove on a spring trap?
   - Is your character likely to set off her apartment's insane security and bear traps? (yes... bear traps. They're painful.)

<b>3. For animal characters, Can she love all over them?</b>
   - She gets along best with wolves, "monsters", and anything bigger than a wolf (in canon, polar bears, reindeers, tigers, lions) -- she has a toss up with small cats, as many of them creep her out. So please remind me which type/category it best falls under:
   - Is she allowed to be instantly clingy to them?
   - Are they likely to bite if she is (at which she'll try to be more calm):
   - Can she sing to them? (It's been known to have Disney effects, and summon the Loch Ness Monster~ With love) and/or Will this make them tell her to shut up? (she'll get depressed)

<b>4. Can she hack your journals/threads/etc. How about thread-jump?</b>
<i>While obviously I won't go for the ones locked 100%...</i>
   - Are your characters really as skilled at the locking as banks and the Pentagon
   - Is she allowed to hack lulzy things that have no REASON to be hacked?
   - Can she be <i>annoying</i> and everywhere and threadjump at the most random things?
   - Can she sulk about not being involved on random things that don't concern her?
   - How violently will your character(s) react after a point/what's the breaking point? (she will back off when it gets super serious)

<b>5. Is your character likely to back Fujiko into a corner she'd have to fight?</b>
   - Is it something she probably did? (stealing/nosiness/see above)
   - Could they get through her (many many many) traps?
   - Would they try to lure her/trap her?
      <i>If so, how</i>?
   - Would she be forced to use her (SUPER LIMITED) bullets? AND is she allowed to with your character(s)? Would it even work on the character?
   - Is your character a master swordsman / can they deflect bullets?
   - Is your character a martial artist / how good are they?
   - Would your character be willing to blackmail her/strike up a "join me and I'll use you" deal to save her life?
   - Good or evil, can that character be double-crossed when/if she switches sides?

<b>6. Is your character likely to intimidate her?</b>
   - Is your character a cyborg/robot?
   - Are they nazis, zombies, timid themselves?
   - Superpowers she would easily find out about through nosiness/journals/word on the street?
   - Would your character be likely to use this on her?
     <i>If so</i>: Can she TL;DR/go desperate?

<b>7. Can she see through other character's disguises? Can your character see through her lies?</b>
    - Can she tell when your character is lying? (Usually on works on an empathetic level or BLUFFING)
    - In seeing through other people, she gives some of herself away, would that character be able to use it and see through parts of her in return?
<i>If your character can see through her lies</i>
-- To what extent/how specifically/emotions only/vague impression/can they tell what the truth is?

For permissions of things you can automatically do to Fujiko without asking (just put needed info in brackets):
Thread-hopping/hacking: Always, and anything under 100%, (even 99% and usually I won't go 100%)
Flirting/hitting on/lewd comments: Yes and she'll flirt back.
Insults: She's honestly more used to insults than politeness and might be rude back, but otherwise won't be fazed.
Groping: The character WILL get slapped/kicked/boxing glove/etc unless she's in an actual romance (but even Lupin still gets constantly beat up like that and then some and she's admitted to being in love with him).
Crack/magic/body-switch/transformation/curse: YES PLEASE. The crazier, the better. Fujiko spends most of Lupin III getting into impossible wtf situations. She's been through a lot of crazyness.
Getting back anything stolen: Yup! If it's obvious she just stashed it somewhere, your character can probably find it. Imaginably, her apartment will be filled up at some point (OTL) so she'll use free apartments on the floor which won't be heavily trapped and you can just find it there, no problem. If it's something extra special your character might need to be able to maneuver through the traps and/or find a way to get her to give it back.
Stealing from Fujiko: Same deal as above.
Conning Fujiko: Oh man so easy. She's really gullible, and she's easily suckered into pyramid schemes and the like so this is by far your best bet to get anything from her.
Punching/slapping: Unless she's pretending to be docile or knows she's clearly outmatched, she'll kick in the nuts, when just taking it/in disguise, she'll just take it.
4th Wall Break and/or being from the same time period/world: 100% okay. In the manga Fujiko calls Monkey Punch her "stalker" and the pervert who's too obsessed with drawing her naked and occasionally yells at him. Due to the infamous and long-running nature of the series, she's mildly infamous herself, HOWEVER, she's gone to great lengths not to be as famous as Lupin, so anyone who would have heard of her should only have heard of her in connection with Lupin. Poking/bugging/harrassing her about it is okay, and canon. She's been all over Earth, been involved with historical landmarks (way more important with Hetalia characters generally) and had tributes to from other series. Also a crossover with Detective Conan/Case Closed. So anyone who would know of her can. If they canon watch the show/read the manga, they can mention it to her, she still won't be fazed and just bring up Monkey Punch.

On a continued 4th wall break note: I'm limiting her references to things she brought up more than once. Which leaves Casablanca, James Bond, Mario Bros. some FPS video games made up in the show, and Sherlock Holmes/Aresene Lupin the first. On Sherlock Holmes, she would try to avoid him (because he was able to hold his own against Lupin's grandfather = scary) but might be a little curious. However, she wouldn't actually fully break 4th wall since he's actually REAL in her world/version. Ditto Arsene Lupin the first and mentioning him. James Bond she seems to secretly wish was real so she'd fangirl him. (Ditto Sean Connery as she's done) but the big worry isn't so much in that she'd directly break 4th wall, it's that she'd bring stuff up a lot. Lupin III has a lot of pop references to EVERYTHING. Fujiko's are a lot LOT less than Lupin, hers mostly revolve around music, which is a big deal with her character, and sometimes unrequited love/romance/etc. Most of the legends used in Lupin are so far bent to be Lupin specific that it's not a huge deal, but a character based in heavy mythology might recieve extra notice/attention without anything super specific.

THANK YOU EVERYONE!! Sorry for the TL;DR ;;
Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy? Va va vavoom! Seriously though, Fujiko basically sets the standards for that. Very thin, but muscular, hugely busty (and responsible for the busty girl anime cliche), and 5'6". Tall for a Japanese woman in the 60s.

2. How old is she? Secret!

3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch? Confident, sexy, a little like a pouncing tiger. She tends to lean back with a "dote on me" air.

4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? Very healthy and athletic. She's had appendicitis already in canon and usually only gets sick now from curses.

5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? Lithe, dextrous, like a pouncing tiger or panther. Or Catwoman.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror? Fujiko knows she's drop dead gorgeous. It's why she uses her charms as her primary defense and offense.

7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? Pale-ish in the 60s/70s before tan was "in" and now usually still on a lighter side. She's "flawless."

8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style. Brown, shoulder-length, and wavy, very full. She does wear a lot of wigs for disguises though.

9. What color are her eyes? Brown. And big. Again, early setter of anime cliche.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features? GIANT BOOBS. Seriously. It deserves extra mentioning.

11. What are her chief tension centers? Shoulders and lower back.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit? Weird colored cat burglar suits in leather, fake leather, and all skintight dextrous materials. She does have some dresses, but her most typical other casual wear is jeans and black shirt.

13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them? They're VERY VERY tight fitting. And she seems most comfortable in the cat burglar suits. XD

14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences? More or less. Sometimes on off time she'll make a show of bikinis and such, but Fujiko is never really completely off any job. And of course, disguises are a big part of her job.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando? Judging by Lupin she prefers boxers. As for what she wears herself, lacy panties more often than not.

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? Smooth. And she's a singer.

2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate? Easily, cutely, and lots of "hms" and thoughtful sounds. Fairly softly unless she's mad.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? So many "hms" "tchs" and so forth.

4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency? Japanese, English, Russian... frick too many.

5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations? Yes. And she likes to swear in obscure languages too.

6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words? She's good at improving it. But she's always thinking, whether on her feet or not.

7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? Ah, relatively articulate, but she can go directly into babble mode when she's scared.

Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart? Genius. Complete genius. Be it on chemistry or rocket science. She's also fairly street-smart, but not at ALL wise.

2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate? She plans in multitude, but she's very used to plans falling apart so she's good at winging it.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? Not at ALL logical or practical. More highly emotional and impulsive. "I want therefore, I must have," style.

4. What kind of education has the character had? Unknown. She was in college for journalism and switched to criminology, she can successfully feign... really anything, including international law. She's had a lot of weapon and soldier training and special agents from countries all over the world.

5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about? Guns, motorcycles, flying, driving anything, and treasure. She loves animals and singing, but doesn't want to take either professionally. She always wants more treasure and to learn more about the legends, but doesn't want the work involved.

6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert? Introvert who is more extroverted than she wants to admit or be.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? Cheerful and devious, but VERY conniving and driven, and something of a spazz.

8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic? Suspicious, scared, and more inclined to set traps/investigate/be extra paranoid. She doesn't trust anything.

9. Is she more likely to act, or to react? Act.

10. Which is her default: fight or flight? Ohhhh very tough call. Loosely I'll say fight, but pretty much she does both at the same time. And when the going gets tough she bails, she just gets cornered a lot and if she thinks she can make a weaker opponent back down with fighting she will before running.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? Pranks and... her humor is just odd. She laughs easily at many things, but she's terrible at making jokes and cannot make anyone else laugh with her usually.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does she deal with them? Paranoia >> And she sets traps everywhere and tries to compensate.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined her as a person? Meeting Lupin, getting shot by Poon, various meetings with Zenigata, beyond that, it's ~mystery.~

14. What does she fear? ... Almost everything. OTL

15. What are her hopes or aspirations? To be rich and safe and never have to worry again so that she can do whatever the hell she wants, whenever the hell she wants and be completely ruled by whimsy. Nothing big, right? Clearly obtainable. hahahahah...

16. What is something she doesn't want anyone to find out about her? ... Everything. Well, all of her past. Definitely her age. Her fears. Her true self. So really... almost everything.

Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with her parents. Nonexistent.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? In the manga she had an adopted best friend/brother from college who ran a newspaper rag out in the mountains. Originally she was helping him run articles on Lupin so that he could make money, but the brother tried to betray her by killing Lupin. He failed and Fujiko stopped him and never spoke with him again.

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom she is close? Are there ones she can't stand? Nope.

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom she considers part of her family? What are her relationships with them? Not really. In a loose way I think Fujiko sort of sees Goemon and Jigen as the brothers-in-law who hate her guts, but she just tries hard NOT to think about the whole thing.

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet? Lupin is really as close as Fujiko has to a human friend. They met while they were both casing a rich mansion family and pretending to work from the inside. They teamed up and robbed the place and then started having various meetings/run-ins. Sometimes they team up, sometimes Fujiko just robs Lupin. It's all very spy-games.

6. Does she have other close friends? Nope. She's too skittish to let people get close to her.

7. Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people? She has a LOT of problems getting along with people. On a really basic EARLY level, she seems super friendly and sweet and easy-going and she has a lot of charm that attracts people, but she considers friends something as deep as her and Lupin or Lupin and Jigen and she's honestly too scared for that so she runs away before people can get that close.

8. Which does she consider more important: family or friends? Love. Ha.

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has she been married more than once? Touch call. She's KIND OF been loosely "married" for gold digging purposes, but since it was sex-less what do you really call that? It's hinted for the time travel episodes that she and Lupin do eventually get married, but it's a question for another decade.

10. Is she currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse? Lupin III + Fujiko gets complicated. She loves him. Sometimes she's out of love with him. Or she just thinks so, or she just SAYS it, but knows otherwise, or she wants to believe it. They're familar with each other.

11. Who was her first crush? Who is her latest? First is really unknown but before Lupin there was a jazz singer assassin known as Poon. Together they were the Golden Assassin Couple until Poon followed orders to kill Fujiko and shot her. She ran away and later shot him when he was going to kill Lupin. Most recently is Lupin... probably.

12. What does she look for in a romantic partner? Funny, charming, loyal, creative, challenging, can actually keep up with her (seriously that's a super-human feat right there), can see through her masks but doesn't prefer the disguises, and at least her equal. Lupin is all of those (except not loyal in the early manga, and he's always a flirt and she wants to come FIRST in any/every man's life.) She is actually a bit of a hopeless romantic deep down.

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does she relate to them? If no, does she want any? Oh. God. No. And she's not really sure she wants kids. Peripherally she just snaps she's way too young to THINK about it. But she does like kids. On the other hand, she thinks she'd make a horrible mother. Especially with brats.

14. Does she have any rivals or enemies? Lupin is her rival, and half of the WORLD is her enemy. (She's highly wanted for all her sneakyness.)

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does she fall on the Kinsey scale? Completely straight. I kind of wish my Fujiko could be more bent, but I can't seem to swing it. Lupin III males are drawn very masculine and she can't even stand bishies/traps. With woman, she can only even fake it to get something out of guys if they're around and watching.

16. How does she feel about sex? How important is it to her? Not. Sex is a weapon to her and one that is to be with-held. Period. She just doesn't really do sex usually. And hasn't with Lupin (ever) and she paranoidly (justifiably so?) protects against rape. To REALLY REALLY extreme levels.

17. What are her turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits? She definitely has a thing for tying men up, but she's not a big fan of being tied up unless she's certain she can escape. She's a little bit dominatrixy and I think given everything she really just wants to be cuddly.

Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does she fit type? No idea, Fujiko doesn't have a set birthday for whichever reasons (mostly it's unknown, EVEN TO HER.)

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in her life? Not at all. She doesn't get spiritual things which leads her to be kind of superstitious and religion and morals are an anathema to her.

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it? Kind of. But it's a fast and loose one. Her morals/ethics/beliefs she is strong about are usually all regarding romance and being betrayed and that she should be allowed to do the betraying. She does slightly believe in checks and balances and yin yang, but it's more unconscious for her than not.

4. How does she regard beliefs that differ from hers? Is she tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent? Completely indifferent, a little curious. Mostly she doesn't care.

5. What prejudices does she hold? Are they irrational or does she have a good reason for them? Some superstitions, but she's prejudiced against everyone because she's been betrayed so often she constantly expects it. There are a lot of good reasons for it in the manga, but it loosens up in RPs where she's in situations where the people just are not that awful.

Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is she rich, poor, comfortable, in debt? It completely depends on how long it's been since the last gig. She runs the gambit of the full entire spectrum. She can be extreme rich in billions of dollars, only to lose it all in just a couple of days.

2. What is her social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected her? Enigma. She tries to stay off the radar, but nevertheless she's an infamous and wanted person in her world.

3. Where does she live? House, apartment, trailer? Is her home her castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does she share it with others? On the road, usually hotel rooms here and there.

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does she spend her money on? Jewelry, electronics, designer whatevers, vehicles (planes, ships, motorcycles, cars) pretty much everything. If she sees it and wants it, she decides she has to have it.

5. What does she do for a living? Is she good at it? Does she enjoy it, or would she rather be doing something else? She's a conwoman/thief/secret agent and she's stellar at it. Only Lupin is better and she still gets the better of Lupin because Fujiko basically IS Lupin's weakness.

6. What are her interests or hobbies? How does she spend her free time? Singing, extreme sports, hang-gliding, flying, driving, motorcycles, sky-diving, submarines, shooting, windsurfing, hanging out with animals, fishing, clubbing, dancing, movies, books, shooting games, camping, horseback riding, traveling, vacationing, they are varied and intense.

7. What are her eating habits? Does she skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods? Light because she worries about keeping her figure. She does drink and she does smoke, but she refuses to let herself get addicted to anything.

Associations
Which of the following do you associate with the character, or which is her favorite:

1. Color? Black
2. Smell? Coffee
3. Time of day? Night
4. Season? Rainy
5. Book? Diamond are Forever by Ian Fleming
6. Music? Smooth jazz, the many songs she sings and especially Love Squall as it's her unofficial theme.
7. Place? Mount Fuji
8. Substance? Diamonds
9. Plant? Trees.
10. Animal? Wolf.

END
{{ Get the HTML here so you can do it yourself. }}

She's at least 24 and probably under 33.
Time Period: Modern. There's some canon time travel and general time issues involved since it's been going since the 60s and there's still new stuff yearly and it updates. She has understanding of technology of the 2000s on Earth, but there's a lot of sci-fi involved in Lupin III and Germany supposedly still had nazis during the course of the series, including several separate incidents involving the Nazis as super villains. (Hitler's long lost treasure -- which just turned out to be his diary, and Hutler -- Hitler's successor.)
Wing Color: Black with lipstick red at the roots.
History: Here. However, it should be noted, it's nowhere near complete, and doesn't describe the majority of events that take place over the course of several series. A lot of the things not mentioned on the website for history were put into the personality section here.

Personality:
A femme fatalle to the utmost, Fujiko Mine is meant to vaguely represent the ultimately dangerous woman. She's dabbled in a little bit of everything including the mafia, elite thievery, spying, and even assassination. In the green jacket opening, she's called an enigma and it's warned that you can never be sure what side she's playing on. She'll team with anyone who she thinks will help her to turn a profit -- Lupin and his fellow thieves, the Interpol detective Zenigata, and even psychos trying to take over the world -- though she also has a tendency to side with anyone she considers an underdog. Her motives are frequently wrapped in an aura of mirrors to bend and twist perceptions; her actions often appear highly irrational; and her reasoning tends to be circularly motivated, one desire leading to another, which leads right back to the first.

At the heart, Fujiko is a conwoman and she never says or does anything without an angle. She's most dangerous when she's being nice because it means she wants something. When she's being mean she's usually having an animalistic reaction to feeling threatened and trying to make enemies back off. Likewise, if she can pretend to be stronger than she is to make someone back off, she will do so. However, if Fujiko can manipulate someone else into protecting her by pretending to be weak, frail, and useless she'll do it in a heartbeat -- whichever angle works best. Even on the rare occasion she appears to be doing something for the whimsy of it, there are often strings or ulterior motives attached. Fujiko plots on twelve different levels at once sometimes, constantly creating backup plans and castles of cards in case something falls through (as it inevitably does). This often lets her get away relatively unscathed and with at least some loot, but it also leaves her jaded and paranoid, always convinced another domino will fall and that she has to keep building up more complex pathways for them to follow in order to protect herself.

The classic paranoid thief, Fujiko goes to extreme and oftentimes ludicrous and arbitrarily dangerous (or even just stupid) means to feel safe. Fujiko's actions are extremely ironic and contradictory to what she actually wants. She's very strong to begin with, but her fear that she will never be as strong as she needs to be, and the fact that she never feels safe, leads her to far more reckless and dangerous behaviour that brings more problems than simply being "weak" ever would. This makes her extremely greedy; she believes that if she gets whatever she wants (money, tools, back-up plans, etc.) then she'll have it when she needs it. Fujiko tries to store up things she thinks will make her feel safer, such as traps, weapons, money, power, but it never truly works. The money she stockpiles makes her worry more about losing it, so she tries to invest it in get rich quick schemes (that just take her money and run), and the weapons she tries to get (such as Goemon's sword Zantetsuken) just draw the attention of other powerful people who want to use it themselves.

Fujiko thrives on chaos, which confuses her allies even more deeply, making her unpredictable at best, and a double agent for the other side at worst. She's allied with Lupin against the Scorpion only to have been secretly allied with Zenigata (of ICPO) all along to capture Lupin so she can get rid of her arrest warrant and bounty. Some of the irrational thing she does -- such as trying to help someone take over a country, start it up with him as president and with her doing all the army, secret agent, and secretary of state stuff -- turn out later that she was supposedly planning from the start to betray him and help Lupin all along. Or so she claims.

Fujiko has a lot of weaknesses that she tries to make up for or cover up entirely. In spite of her many paranoid fears (see weaknesses), she strives to always protect herself and make up for it; or at the minimum, she manages to continue on in spite of the fears. She runs where angels would fear to tread, and is a big believer in the motto that "bad girls go everywhere." Even though she's very scared of dying, she can be extremely reckless when it comes to exploring, extreme sports, or just wanting to do something for the experience of it. Some of this comes from bravado (refusing to admit she's scared except when she can pretend she's only pretending to be scared to get something from it) and the rest of it comes from the idea that life isn't worth living if you can't feel really alive.

Sometimes she's genuinely sweet and caring and trying to cover it up because she sees it as weaknesses in the cutthroat world of mafia and thieve, and other times she really is just being a selfish bitch. However in the manga, Fujiko does selfishly bitchy things usually when she's been hurt or mistakenly thinks she's in the right helping someone who deserves it/will help others. Quite skittish at times, Fujiko genuinely likes animals and will protect them at the sacrifice of herself, but not at the sacrifice of kids, Lupin or someone of the like. Fujiko is at her most lethal when she feels her back is against a wall. Then she fights to the death, kicking, screaming, shooting and scratching the whole way down. Such as fighting nazis in Hell Toupee, when the Scorpion put explosives on her, or even when the Russian KGB was after her.

As a con-woman, thief (and all the rest), masks are a big part of Fujiko's characterization. Lupin III can be a rather confusing series at times because there are plenty of moments where every single character will be pretending to be someone else. Fujiko is a master of disguise as much as Lupin is, and she's extremely good at seeing through other people's disguises. She's known to be the only one who can see through Lupin's (and he's the best in their world), but likewise, he's also very good at seeing through all of hers, no matter how good. She can be very good at telling when someone is lying, but it comes with a price. The better she is at understanding someone (like Lupin, Pycal, or Clarisse) the more she gives away about herself. As such, she tries to hold back at least to some degree because she doesn't want anyone to be able to get that deeply into her head; but often her innate nosiness gets the better of her and she starts to pry in spite of herself.

Despite being stabbed in the back a lot (some of it her fault, a lot of it not always) Fujiko tends to "slip up" and try again. Usually for a calculated reason (so she tells herself) but mostly because she wants someone to prove her wrong, someone who won't betray her like most of everyone she's known. This doesn't mean she won't betray someone if she gets paranoid think it's already coming. In the past she's been known to tutor kids (often little girls she seems to see some of herself in, or at least something worth protecting) who give her a good enough reason to; but this usually doesn't end well for her. Because of that, Fujiko always has a side goal going, using the kids as a mask, using them to get to something, earn trust where they live or whatever. She can actually be rather motherly and protective and several kids tend to be drawn to her, but because of her extreme paranoia and jaded history she frequently calls them all little con-artists unless they prove to her otherwise.

For all of Fujiko's fears and paranoias, she wants to prove to herself that she can be stronger than that, and that she is stronger than that. This leads her to engage in high-risk thrill-seeking activities like standing on the front of speedboats, shooting the distance (and crash, at that), sky diving, hang gliding, jumping out of airplanes, hang on by a rope to moving helicopters with a ridiculously big smile on her face, or purposely telling the mafia to go fuck themselves when she's already about to be shot by them. She'll take on secret agent missions to get favors from governments, and when she gets wind of a betrayal, run away to double cross them first.

She'll keep someone else's secrets on point of torture BUT she'll spill if she knows it will help her more than hurt. (On torture you can figure she assumes once she tells they'll kill her). She's been kidnapped over 20 times, been on rescue missions for other kidnapped people and tends to be leery or risking it (give her a good enough reason/shinies and she probably will anyway). While she generally learns from mistakes she also keeps doing some of the same stupid things over and over (falling for Lupin, running from Lupin, falling for shinies yet again, even though it's a trap and almost getting killed) the one biggest thing she progressed in the story with was regarding curses/superstitions. She started off skeptical but by the later seasons she KNEW certain things were real and often not worth fucking with. (That doesn't mean she won't try to steal a KNOWN cursed treasure, it means she'll try to find a way to break the curse so she can still have it without dying.)

She loves shinies (gems, art, money, jewelery, mirrors, really anything shiny) more than anything, but they might tie with animals. She has a lot more capacity to love inanimate objects, because they don't betray her, it would just be her betraying herself. She loves rare things most of all because they're most valuable, and this is also especially true regarding animals -- she loved Nessie, and has gone out of her way to rescue endangered and trapped animals (white tigers, polars bears) and incredibly, she gets along with them. Preferring animal company to humans, Fujiko is shown having her happiest moments when she's off in the woods seemingly by herself, but actually keeping company with several animals (wolves, horses, the Loch Ness monster). For huge portions of the series, Fujiko is frequently shown running off to far away locations in the world to be "by herself" but she gets lonely and either lures animals into accompanying her or she gets bored and migrates back to civilization despite the inherent dangers involved -- such as all the mafia and world governments who want her dead.

For a smart woman, Fujiko is disturbingly gullible. When she gets away with a lot of money she likes to invest it in ridiculously stupid pyramid schemes. Mostly because she's easily conned into doing things ("Hey Fujiko want to do something fun like go rob the White House?" always tends to get an answer of "hell yeah" even knowing how dumb and pointless it would be and just for kicks and grins and infamy, even though she doesn't want any of the infamy and goes to lengths to avoid it), but arguably because she wants a reason to keep needing to steal for fun or got bored hanging around Maui after 2 weeks and wants Lupin's attention again. She tends to buy into pipe dreams and "believe in them" and when she does, she sticks with them to the end. At which point she runs away when they blow up, hypocritically refusing to take responsibility for herself and blames Lupin or someone else instead.

On that note; Fujiko in general doesn't want to take responsibility for herself. She's childish like that and will bicker with kids like she's fourteen years old and not a full grown adult who could walk away at any minute she wanted to. She's gotten in actual, "No YOU" arguments with kids and instead of being mature she just went whining to Lupin to make them stop. Luckily for her, he finds this behavior cute, and arguably, she does it on purpose for that reason (since without him around she does take care of herself. The immaturity with kids, and general irresponsibility sticks even when he isn't there though.)

She's extremely emotional and impulsive despite always trying to be calculating and cold and perceptively all about the money. Fujiko actually tends to be easily driven by passion and no matter how much she wants to keep her distances she falls for people hard which is why she gets so distressed about perceived betrayal. When she falls for liking someone (like Lupin, animals, or kids) she falls hard and gets extremely attached (though still not as much as she does to shiny things). Aware of her tendency towards this, Fujiko takes lengths to try to keep her distance or sometimes push people away, but she actually wants someone to prove to her that they aren't like all the other people she's had to deal with and that there really could be good people out there even though she doesn't believe it to be truly possible. She's been known to adopt "younger brothers" who weren't related to her, or young girls under her mentorship that she teaches to protect themselves against men. Usually this is in case she can use them in the future (or needs them), but Fujiko has abysmal judgement on who is trustworthy and frequently the people she attempts to give second chances to do not deserve it and it winds up backfiring.

On the many occasions when one of Fujiko's plots goes wrong, she tries to run away from everyone and everything. She always tries to stay on the move, and rarely will discuss her past misdeeds, even going so far as to claim she has amnesia about the past if she doesn't want to discuss it. There are certain incidents in the course of Lupin III where she has actually gotten amnesia. Sometimes it's even been genuine and Lupin found her and tried to help restore her memory. Other times however, it's faked and just something she doesn't want people to know. Because of her propensity for getting herself into unlikely situations, her lies do tend to be believable, even when they're ludicrous, but this is because the truth of her life is even more implausible and she knows this and uses it to its fullest.

Fujiko is ridiculously nosy and far too curious for her own good. It is the number one canon reason she gets in trouble. She butts in where she's not wanted, she butts in where she makes things MESSIER, she butts in even when people tell her to scram and aim a gun at her. However, she doesn't get involved to mess things up, she does it because she wants to know as much as she can (knowledge is power), and oftentimes because she does want to help and dislikes being left out. Even though she's the first introduced character to Lupin III (and his oldest friend... of a sort) she is left out a lot, in part because she runs away and distances herself, but also because of who and what she is. As the woman of the series, she doesn't fit in the same with the boys (nor does she just want to be one of the boys), she comes out on top better when she's on her own, and she isn't a specialized thief like the others, she's more specifically rounded and as such, sometimes a little superfluous. For all her fears of people, Fujiko does like most people and mostly wants to like them. She has far too high standards and they get bruised when people fail to live up to them. However, she does start off wanting to help some people, even if it's just because she wants to be able to use them for something later on.

Fujiko gets a lot of enjoyment out of life and constantly feels the need to have extreme experiences. While she does like some simpler things like singing, or being out in nature, she also has some rather high-end tastes when she can afford it. However, she's more likely to pretend to need rich things than actually desire them. She doesn't bother as much with designer clothes as she claims because she usually ends up going back to using leather catsuits or simple jeans and tight polo shirts. While she likes big fancy and expensive cars, for practical reasons she usually winds up sticking to motorcycles which can go faster, draw less attention, and can squeeze in tight spaces. She can go camping out in just a tent and warm clothes in the dead of winter in a snowstorm and she'll actually be more comfortable there than the fancy hotel room she pretends to like more because no one is likely to find her in the snowstorm so she doesn't have to set so many traps, nor worry so much. Fujiko pretends to like eating out a lot; and in fact does enjoy it, but while she usually tries to bilk her dates for very expensive cuisine, she's also content with hamburgers and little bistros -- something she wouldn't want them to know.

Very athletic, Fujiko loves extreme sports. She's been shown doing everything from surfing, windsurfing, sailing, kickboxing, rollerblading, and motocross, to hang-gliding, parachuting, sky diving, and she has an unhealthy addiction to adrenaline and has been known to jump off extremely seventy story buildings towards a helicopter with one lone rope hanging to try to catch herself on. She's a master of many sports and likely could have won Olympic competitions if she wasn't a secret agent and ex-assassin on the run all the time. She has a huge need for speed and loves the thrill to be had from it.

Fujiko loves singing, dancing, and music in general, but aside from the jazz, she has some extremely eclectic (and usually made up in the show) tastes. Music plays a huge role in her characterization, in part because she sings so often, but also because she rarely expresses her true feelings except when singing (though even then, not always). She displays a more vulnerable side when she sings and can sometimes actually be very shy about it because she's afraid of someone saying it's bad and because she shows more of her true self with it. The songs she chooses most often refer to her tumultuous and sometimes stormy relationship with Lupin, and strangely unrequited love is frequently at the heart of it. In the manga, her love for Lupin is much more unrequited where he runs away any time she wants him not to sleep around with other women or he starts to admit he loves her. In the anime, usually it's Fujiko who leaves Lupin, but while in the manga this is is often due to a perceived betrayal on his part (hitting on other women while she's around or losing treasure she fought hard to get) those parts are often skipped in the anime to make Lupin less of a jerk.

Despite being one of the most adaptable characters in Lupin III, Fujiko doesn't believe anyone else can change. As she famously says several times, "Leopards don't changes their spots and a wolf is always a wolf." Though as she also points out, that's not always necessarily bad. Unfortunately she doesn't always want to accept other people the way they are. Perhaps because she idealizes them and they can't live up to it (people in Lupin III are much crueler to Fujiko than real life people usually are to each other -- whether or not she brings it on herself) or sometimes just because she gets scared and pushed them away. Whichever is the case, she says it hollowly and bitterly as though hoping things could be different, usually because the wolf part refers to Lupin running around and chasing many women.

Fujiko loves a good prank and sense of humor, even if her jokes tend to fall flat. It's one of the main things that first attracted her to Lupin, and indeed one of the things that kept her coming back to him even when he fouled up her plans -- something that from anyone else would have been deemed unforgivable. However, where Lupin and Jigen frequently joke and banter about, much to laughs from each other, when Fujiko makes a joke, there's usually crickets and extremely awkward silence -- same with her pop culture references, though this is of course done on purpose. Part of this is because her jokes are often quite morbid and no one can really tell they're jokes until she says so, and even then they're not sure she really was just kidding, no matter how much she stomps her foot and insists it.

She's a big fan of action comics, movies and books (most notably referencing James Bond and Dick Tracy) but she's fond of classic tear-jerkers too like Casablanca. She's most fond of jazz and saxaphones, and even fell in love with a jazz night-club singer and made an infamous assassin duo with him while they were dating. (It fell apart when he tried to kill her on his mob bosses' orders and she ran away.) Fujiko has the biggest tendency to break 4th wall in the manga such as yelling at Monkey Punch (the creator) to stop stalking her and trying to draw her naked all the time, and not to give Lupin sex scenes like he keeps requesting. However, most of these are instigated and she doesn't do it randomly; more just depending on if the person around her is already doing it.

Like most people, Fujiko is very different depending on who she is with, what attitude they display towards her, and which will mask or person she can adopt to best use them in return. With Lupin, even though she knows she has him mostly wrapped around her finger, he's likewise the only one who can get the better of her. She uses him for his skills and money as often as she can, but she's openly admitted to loving him, even when she pretends she doesn't anymore.

Weaknesses:
The lists of things Fujiko fears is actually quite a bit shorter than the list of things she doesn't fear. The things she's NOT afraid of are: heights, monsters, speed, sports (including martial arts, fencing, kickboxing, rollerblading, windsurfing, and other rather extreme sports), music, dancing, and animals (except cats. Some cats she likes, most cats she finds "creepy as hell").

Known fears exposed in canon however include (though are by no means limited to); guns (despite that she owns and loves 6), fire (though she will use flamethrowers and explosives), explosives, giant bugs, death, being raped, robots, the unkown, being threatend (even by five year olds because to quote "You never know what they can do"), drowning, being skinned alive, tickle torture (it's one of her biggest weaknesses that's frequently exploited and also guarded against in her clothing choice of leather), being electrocuted (she only bathes where she's sure she can avoid someone throwing a toaster in or can jump out if they do), being poisoned (she doesn't like to eat out alone partly so she doesn't have to pay, but also so that she can use them to test food by feeding them some of hers), aliens, magical curses (despite early skepticism in the show she evolves to not only learn that they are real, but to know they are scary), Friday the 13th etc. etc.

Fujiko is primarily extremely paranoid. She sets more traps than any sane person would, including sleeping with a bear trap next to her and she's infamous for having a boxing glove on a spring (on a type of corset) that's even featured in the 2nd series opening theme. She's been on the run for several years, to the point that she literally explains that staying still makes her scared of getting caught. She's made several lethal enemies and while she is willing to kill, she leaves a lot of them alive in case in the future they can be more useful (or because Lupin restrains her as he doesn't like killing unnecessarily).

Pointedly the classic thief; she believes all other thieves to be at least as cutthroat and devious as her. She believes everyone is out to get everyone else and that that is why you should trust no one and look after yourself. However, in spite of this, Fujiko keeps trying to find people to trust; only get to pick the very worst kind which gets her stabbed in the back (sometimes quite literally). She attempts to make useful alliances for the future, but frequently these are used completely against her; only furthering her jaded belief that she shouldn't trust anyone.

She has an abysmal sense of judgement. Both for other people who should be enemies, or even other people who should be friends. She has a knack for finding only the wrong type; which gets her involved with world-class criminals and often needing help getting bailed out. And even when she does find "good" guys, she doesn't believe they are what they say and tries to prove they're bad, or she just runs away in fear. Fujiko is more likely to "trust" someone she already knows is lying than someone who isn't lying at all, just because she believes everyone is lying and she'd rather deal with the one she can easily figure out the lies from. There are few ways to truly get Fujiko to trust someone. If the person comes to her, she won't trust their motives as just being "friendly," if she can't figure out their motives or what they want from her she's like to bolt. But in the end, even when she does know the motives, she has a tendency to run away anyway in a misguided attempt to protect herself from all the things she fears will come true (wether they would or not).

Fujiko is very easily conned. Despite all her intelligence, she's very foolish. She's a sucker for any type of project that favors the underdog (one of the main reasons she has such a dynamic love-hate with Lupin. She loves him when he's losing, and can't stand him when he's truly on top of the world as the "best" and even feels the need to cut him back down to size, even if she helped him up that ladder in the first place) and she can be easily manipulated into buying into ridiculous cons. She's not quite so gullible as to buy the Brooklyn Bridge, but she might be ridiculous enough to try to steal it (she did help try to steal the Cristo Redentor after all). Primarily all her money gets lost through bad investments in a bad judgement call trying to make more money. Fujiko wants to be safe herself, but she doesn't want to "play it safe." She'd much rather take a big risk and lose everything than do nothing at all, though this leads to rather obvious complications and difficulties.

Much like the cat whose curiosity got the better of him and ended his life, one of Fujiko's main foibles is her overwhelming curiosity. It goes back to her belief that if she gets everything she wants, she'll have whatever she needs. However, this more than gets on everyone's nerves. "Nosy" is the mildest way Lupin's partner Jigen puts it, and usually it just makes him hate her guts. Her extreme curiosity and drive to know everything has led to some rather extremely dangerous exploits; including hacking the United States government mainframe, finding out Soviet Union secrets and selling them to Poland, uncovering many terrorist organizations or "take over the world" plots, or James Bond style villains. Despite being the kind of person who tries to keep almost everything secret about herself, Fujiko still attempts to learn all those dangerous secrets and treads precisely where she doesn't belong. If she catches wind of something interesting she wants it right then and there and will pounce and try to ferret it out even when it is ridiculously foolish and dangerous to do so.

While being a common defense mechanism, Fujiko's tendency to reflect people's personalities/attitudes back at them often winds up as a weakness because it leads her to talking back and fighting where meek obliqueness would get her less roughed up and less likely to be killed. Many examples of this are where she winds up talking back or kicking men who have her captured and at their mercy. The tendency to reflect back also leads her to seek out people who have traits she likes in herself because she can be a little bit more comfortable with them (albeit, forever on her guard.)

Yet another defense mechanism, when Fujiko gets extremely scared by someone she goes directly into "babble" mode. In the manga, it literally just shows her overflowing with speech bubbles filled with "babble" and the bad guys that scared her covering their ears and telling her to shut up. In the anime, Inspector Zenigata (Lupin's would be arresting cop) knows about this weakness and exploits it to the fullest. He starts off friendly and asking about other things and gradually she just gives away the whole story, the hide-out's location, the mark, the legends involved, the bad guys, how Lupin got hurt, everything.

Fujiko's love of shinies is arguable her biggest weakness at all. She becomes almost hypnotically possessed by the desire to own it so that it reaches a "need" to her, and completely captivates her attention and every though. She really can't help herself. Even when an entire cave was collapsing around them, Fujiko was still trying to pull more gold tiles for her to bring, even though she was alrady carrying more than her own weight in gold and they were all going to die if she didn't get running. She often comes very close throwing her life away for just a few more baubles and has to be dragged away by someone who isn't so unbelievably obsessed.

Her hyperactive imagination leads to a great deal many problems. Not the least of which is the previously mentioned intense paranoia, and her primary reason for being so very gullible. It also creates a number of other odd idiosyncrasies, one of them being that she takes metaphors too far. Part of this is from her superstitious nature (after being hit by many many curses), so that she finds "omens" (even though she usually ignores them, and Goemon and Jigen are the ones to take them more as warnings.) But she also has a tendency to only be able to speak her true feelings in songs or metaphorically. Alone, this isn't a weakness, but Fujiko takes it to extremes. She becomes so attached to someone or something that losing it makes her depressed enough to feel like her life has no meaning. She likes to literally try to close entire chapters of her life, and considers her guns so much a part of her she's gone to extreme lengths to protect them. Without her guns she claims to feel completely naked, even though she's been actually naked and not had a problem with it. Her love of metaphors is very often displayed in the type of treasure she likes best; which is usually a type of gem that's symbolic of something else and has a long history to go with it -- which naturally leads her to wind up with cursed treasure more often than not.

Despite Fujiko's high-end tastes for treasure, she actually knows very little about paintings art and even sculptures. She tends to base things at their materials or their "shiny factor" to which paintings, of course, can't be measured. For all heists involving paintings, she has to get help from Lupin or consultants because she wouldn't be able to tell the difference between fakes; nor would she know which ones are best for stealing.

She is an abysmal cook and while she can cook enough that she doesn't starve in the wild, for someone scared of being poisoned, she relies on other people cooking quite a bit. To her credit, however, Fujiko is just about never successfully poisoned through food because she really is that paranoid.

Strengths:
Extremely strong in both and mind and body, Fujiko is one of the more formidable people in the world of Lupin III, despite her doubts otherwise. She's capable of extraordinary athletics and has held up under intense pain which would have killed normal people (she got shot twice once and the only reason she wound up collapsing several blocks away was that she got appendicitis on top of it). She can bring down martial artists much stronger and more experienced with her due to her own skills and lithe dexterity. She's extremely cunning and she isn't afraid to use whatever it takes. Somewhat incredibly however, she manages to keep anyone from actually having sex with her (throwing bear-traps on their ass quite literally tends to help) and for all her flirting, hinting, pretending, and faking it, she has a line there that she doesn't allow to be crossed -- hinting quite vocally that she would want a loyal partner who only slept with her.

She's an amazing sharpshooter (her skills are primarily only rivaled by Lupin and Jigen) and she can wield two rather heavy Thompson machine guns at once. (Mismatching ones, yes.) It should also be noted that she's miraculously/magically able to hide these under impossibly skintight clothes and more or less started the cliche of anime women whipping out hammers from under their clothes (though this was based on looney toon and Mad Magazine style cartoons as well.) For all her curves and very large bust (another anime cliche she was at the forefront/start of) she's still able to hide impossibly large items in her bra (handcuffs, a Browning gun, and so forth). She carries five guns when she's fully armed typically -- two Thompson machine guns on her thighs, twin Walther PPK pistols at her hips in normal holsters, and a Browning M1910 usually in her bra. Even with this, she still manages to hide them under skin-tight leather catsuits which is almost a superpower on its own.

Fujiko is very adept at using her looks and wiles as a disguise in and of itself. She pretends to be what she thinks people expect or want to see so that they can use her and in turn she just uses them instead. She is, in fact, a master of disguises and very capable of seeing through other people's disguises (though this comes at a karmic price). She's also very good at running away and though she often gets herself into trouble, she never purposely springs a trap she can't get out of, and she never gets Lupin into trouble she doesn't think he can escape. When Lupin is in over his head, Fujiko winds up being one of his very closest and strongest allies, and she won't back down for anything.

A certifiable genius, Fujiko is capable of rocket science, advanced level chemistry, and this made her one of the most dangerous undercover agents in the world. Which, once governments, mafia, and various people using her were done with her; also made her wanted dead for the State secrets she uncovered or was involved with. She did a number of "favors" for various governments and due to her near-perfect memory, she was then wanted dead for the knowledge she retained. Oftentimes, rather than try to kill her, various groups just tried to wipe her memory (a few arguably, at least temporarily succeeded at that). Fujiko knows very many languages, some fluidly, and she's at least fluid in Japanese, English, French, Portuguese, and a few rare dialects. She also extremely well-versed in mythology and most legends involving treasure (even if she recklessly heeds their warnings contained within). It should be noted however, that if she can con someone else into doing the research and hard work for her, she will, and there are many times on puzzles even Fujiko gets stumped and the only person clever enough to solve it is Lupin.

Fujiko can be too good at ferreting out other people's secrets, which is really both a strength and weakness. It's a strength in that it's what makes her such the skilled femme fatalle/secret agent/undercover anything/thief/etc. that she is, but it's also a weakness in that it tends to (understandably) bother people and make them want her dead. However, when she finds out good/mild secrets, she'll sometimes try to help people along with their problems, often out of a sense of empathy. For all of Fujiko's immorality, she's very empathetic to other people. Problems they have, she sees herself having and she wants to help them fix it, and sometimes she really does help. This only happens if they both get close enough to each other though.

Most incredibly, for all of Fujiko's many fears, worries, and paranoia, she fights on through it. She finds ways to cope, deal with it, and recklessly plunge on. And somehow through it all, she manages not to die. A lot more of it is due to Lupin saving her than she's ever likely to admit, and for all her bad luck, she's got enough that she's survived very incredible things. In spite of it all, she's terrified to tears of dying, (and other things) yet she braves against vampires, evil mad scientists, invisible blood-thirsty pirates, hundreds of curses, and some very mind-blowing circumstances (like being split into her yin and yang halves and not rejoining properly). She's a very dynamic character, a lot of mesh of contradicting impulses, constant plotting, and very challenging, but she has high potential to shine if only given the right opportunities.

Samples (ALL samples must be set in Luceti-verse.)

First Person:

Dear Item Shop, and those who were originally wishing to take their patronage there:

All your shinies are mine. Maybe we're supposed to play nicely and share, but really it's free. How did no one think of doing this before? No matter! I've claimed them all in the name of -- actually no, I'm not going to tell you my name in case you try to take them back. All you need to know, is that they're mine now. And if you do try to come get them, I think it's only fair to warn you that a bunch of those recent shinies were my traps, and they're now creating a healthy perimeter to keep out any and all intruders. Understand Luceti? Shinies are mine. Not yours now, mine. And I'm keeping them. On a totally unrelated note, what's the deal with the blacksmiths? Can they melt down anything? And oh, say, remake them nice and pretty?

~Signed with a Kiss
ANONYMOUSLY!

Third Person: (Samples must be 300 words or above. Remember to write using proper grammar, verb tenses, and paragraphs.)

Fujiko gloated on her hoard of shiny items. Sure, some of them were cheap and not really worth keeping around, but she hadn't had time to sort them yet. She'd only had time to steal everything with a reflection or gleam and bolt for it. And best of all, for once in her life, it wasn't even illegal! HA! No matter what people said, clearly this really WAS paradise. She had a mountain of shinies. And okay, to be fair, it was nothing like the shiny mounds in her dreams and fantasy as those had always involved jewels and gold and usually she'd be able to switch it at whim to some majestic beach where she could nibble grapes and tease Lupin with her bikini line; but still, this was nothing short of fantastic! And there was at least SOME jewelery in the mix. And even if she couldn't get her iPod working yet, it was just a matter of time. Soon, she could take the wiring and firmly implant the idea of getting electrical power sources to charge her basic necessities in the the mind of some genius; and then, then she would be queen supreme of this place.

Really, it was all perfect. A teensy bit worrisome that with the wings and heaven-like atmosphere she'd somehow died and found herself in the afterlife, but no matter, if she could take command over the afterlife than it didn't really matter that she didn't think she believed in such things.

The woman sorted through the stack of mirrors and began setting them about the room. She was going to be stuck here for awhile which was dangerous, and also meant that she needed all the protection she could get. Especially if the angry mob attempted to track her down. Maybe she should bury the shiny things in the forest; but that just seemed too much like a pirate. Besides, then no one could enjoy their beauty and shiny things were meant to be enjoyed. Really, who was the real criminal between them? The people who ignored the beautiful FREE shinies in their midst, or the wonderful caring woman who gave them their rightful attention? Clearly Fujiko was a savior. Of all things shiny and neglected.

She set the mirrors to catch each other so that from any angle of the apartment, she'd be able to see intruders to deal with them. She also then set about marking the blind spots for her to memorize so that she could hide in them. And then just like that she jumped back on her shinies pile, which in retrospect wasn't such a great idea because being primarily metal they were pointy, hard, and thoroughly uncomfortable. Oh well, at least none of them were blades. Those could come later.

[This is Fujiko in army fatigues. You might be wondering where she got them, but really it's better not to question such things because the answer is usually just going to be "her boobs." In any case, she is winded, running and dodging a ridiculous amount of traps, all of which went off at once. Where did this traps come from? You might wonder as she does a handspring, narrowly missing a bear trap on the floor as she continues running away from flying spears that seem to sparking with some sort of dangerous electricity. Well as she appears to be running through the hallway containing the entirety of the womens' dorms, (and yes, if you step outside, you'll see her running and dodging those traps, and you might want to get the hell out of the way) it turns out, she set them herself.]

UH! Anyone in the womens' dorms areas? Stay the hell out of the hallway! For your own good! Hum. Apparently something glitched and they all went off at once. Yeah... Not my fault though! Um... That's all!

[She narrowly leans back like limbo-ing to duck under a flying spear coming from the OTHER direction, and unfortunately her boobs stick up a bit much and it slices just between them, wrecking the buttons on the shirt and blue bra underneath.]

AH! FUCK! That's my favorite shirt you goddamned son of a -- [The golem cuts it off to stem her tirade.]

Another Open Log

Who: Fujiko & Lupin (and anyone else if you're really in the mood)
What: Fujiko's 2nd cigarette break for the month and talking to Lupin.
Why: Because there's a lot of unresolved things between them (always will be??)
Where: On top of the sub/near the Vongola decks.
When: Some time this week after Lupin heals a lot more and Fujiko returns from running away to Havoc. Let's go with the 19th. 21st is her casino heist :3
Rating: PG-13? I'll edit if it goes higher.

Fujiko leaned against the cool metal and focused on the cigarette. Sometime between November and January she'd almost managed to give them up. They reminded her of him and there were some days she couldn't take it. Ironic then that she was sitting there now, smoking one and trying to decide what to do about Lupin. If anything. Really, she was just willing to leave it at nothing. Make Goemon and Zenigata deal with his messes now. Maybe back in her world it would have meant more if he'd shown up like that. She softly sang "Paradise" to herself and lazily watched the clouds and seagulls. It was just a chaotic part of her life she couldn't escape. Maybe that didn't really mean she had to do anything about it specifically. Or maybe she should chase down Robin and offer a heist. When she finished with the casino. She'd been lucky that Lupin hadn't stumbled on those plans yet. Maybe Mat really was as lucky as he said.

Who: Fujiko, Gokudera, possibly others who run into Fujiko (sub, Vongola, Roxas, or people with a reason to be there only please)
Where: Sub to Vongola.
What: Fujiko's smoking a cigarette and helping Gokudera who got his hand trapped.
When: After her date with Havoc, before picking up Lupin (Valentine's Night)
Why: She's emotional
Rating: PG-13 for language and Gokudera/Fujiko's respective tempers

Fujiko needed a cigarette break and now. The post was mortifying although she felt she was doing a decent job covering up the embarrassment. On the other hand, Havoc had managed to disarm all of the traps to her room, sneak in that morning and wake her up with a smile on his face. He'd gotten a boxing glove trap to the face for it, but when she realized it was Havoc and not Lupin they talked. She mentioned Lupin showing up at dinner and he hadn't been thrilled, but he wasn't saying much of what he thought of it.

She need a reality check. Her adopted little brother, however much he hated it. And that meant seeking out Gokudera. Where the hell was he anyway?

Who: Closed to Fujiko & Havoc (Nick Parker)
What: Talking out reality vs. dreams
Why: Needed to be don.
When: Sometime after his post
Where: His room on the Lady Justice (she snuck through a window)
Rating: Talking? PG-13 for now. I'll fix as necessary so don't track if you're squeamish, I don't pretend to know how she'll always take things until it happens. RP baby.

Fujiko doublechecked her stolen blueprints and the notes she'd made of the Lady Justice. She probably should have asked Havoc where his room was, but she was pretty sure she could find it even without that. And it was a test. She remembered where it was, unless that was a lie. It was a lie. A strange false memory, but maybe there was some truth to it. The best lies always had some truth to them, that's what made them so difficult to discern. She threw up a grappling rope and climbed up the ship, carefully making sure not to get caught, grateful that the black catsuit blended in withthe night ocean's darkness. She took a chance and peeked in "his" window. Success!

The window was broken, something from Garp perhaps? Although it looked like something (a shoe possibly?) had been thrown through it. Fujiko carefully reached in and undid the lock, not like she didn't do this a hundred times a year back in her world, and hopped inside. "Hey there Parker," she nervously greeted with a soft smile. Part of her still leaned against the wall next to the window, ready to run away in a second if this all turned out to be some sort of elaborate trap. She didn't... completely trust him and yet here she was taking this kind of chance. There was something there, even if she couldn't define it yet.
