Hopefully, the photos that i post and share can be used to help people understand and lend a helping hand to victims of those disasters.

WhEe! spiderman 2 was great! but then... it was different in many ways compared to the original cartoon and comics!

History: Peter Parker was orphaned at the age of 6 when his parents were killed in an airplane crash overseas. He went to live with his uncle and aunt, Ben and May Parker, in Forest Hills, New York. One evening Parker attended a public exhibition demonstrating the safe handling of nuclear laboratory waste materials sponsored by the General Techtronics Corporation. During the demonstration, a small Common House Spider happened to be in the path of a particle accelerator's beam and was massively irradiated. The stricken spider fell on to Parker's hand, broke his skin with its fangs, and died. His hand burning from the bite, Parker left the exhibition.

well, in the movie he was bitten by a genetically engineered spider =)

Unlike the movie, he can't shoot webs unlimitedly.
in comics...Spider-Man uses web-shooters which are twin devices worn on his wrists which can shoot thin strands of a special “web fluid” at high pressure. so he runs out of it regularly, especially at impt times.

parker has many relationships actually, Betty Brant and Gwen Stacey(But she died, no thanks to green goblin) , then lastly Mary Jane.

he didn't met most of the villians the way he did in the movie... but what the heck.

woah... just like this... a month flew by
and i am hit by the harsh fact that i don't feel one bit more prepared to face the A levels, sigh... this is bad. i really should start studying.
hmmm... but somehow i don't think the holiday was wasted.
spent most of my time re-establishing old friendships.
met up with my sec 1 classmate and we spent one day doing crazy stuff like going to a farm, then walk around endlessly, hopping on buses that leads to nowhere and ended the day watching a movie.
and went out a few times too with thong and my nu er supposedly to study... haha.
zhi wen too! haha, overall my progress was slow but i feel more relax to take on whatever comes my way!

sth interesting happened today in the chem lab
our class nearly died.
well, some of us took the wrong reagent to heat and the whole lab filled with poisonous gas.
the wrong reagent: solid acid
think i nearly choked to death. our whole class almost did.
then when we re-enter the lab to resume our prac, someone did the same thing again.
i think my lifespan has been reduced by at least 10 years.

i think i had lost touch with the cyberworld.
i mean, i just found out 'livejournal' had a new look!
like WHEN WAS THAT!!!
prefer the old look though, easier to use.

anyway, really looking forward to the september holidays to catch up with my lectures and tutorials.
don't really know what's goin' on for physics and chemistry, especially the latter.
But at the same time, musn't forget to have fun, which is what i do best, of course.

being really obsessed with Garfield recently. and foxtrot comics too.
think i'm addicted. heh.

btw, i've two new hamsters, for about a month now.
really hyperactive. just escaped from their cage yesterday.
i didn't realised until i saw something that resembles my hamster ran past my leg.
it was then i found out both escaped from their cage.
spent TEN whole minutes looking for them and catching them.
sigh... well, despite the headaches they give me, i still love them...
well, at least until they start stinking up the room.

can i know who wants to know more about my combi?
actually, further maths is not very tough.
but i would not say it's easy either.
it's quite fun.
you learn mathematics to a greater depth.
you learn the proof of lots of formulas that we take for granted.
furthermore, there are alot of shortcuts you learn which makes life easier in maths C.
for instance, we learn cross product of vectors, and a 6marks maths C question can be done in one step.
both maths C and Fmaths are quite different.
a last piece of advice, if you cannot stand having 15periods a week dedicated to maths then don't consider my combi. =)
