I finally posted my reversebang. It was a long exhausting process. Worked late, posted after 10pm, had a coding meltdown, lj ate half my fic and I had to start all over, but finally it's posted.

It's time for a Wedding

So Stacy and I are getting married April 9th. It's official.

I bought my dress... It's not a traditional wedding dress but we aren't going traditional. I love it. the color is fancy and very much in the theme of a wedding.

We booked the restaurant banquet room for the dinner. It's at an Italian restaurant called Marzoni's brick oven and brewery. We love the brick oven pizza's and they make their own beers... mmmmmm
We are doing a limited menu.. 4 choices from fish to classic traditional pasta and we are going to see if they will make us 2 brick oven pizzas and cut them into 16 slices instead of the traditional 8 so that the slices are small enough to be the appetizers.

All of my dear friends, I know that a lot of you are stunned and rightfully upset/hurt about dreamweaver37's betrayal of your trust and I hug all of you tightly.

I can only imagine how hard it is for you, especially those of you who joined his bereavement community and had real things to post and talk about.

I figured him out over a year ago and when I questioned him about his children and how he managed to get all of those desperately damaged and special needs children,(being a nurse, I know how the system for family services placement of special needs children and the requirements for extra help and mandated therapies both physical and mental) and he turned on me and accused me of attacking him while passive/aggressively bad-mouthing me to all of his fangirl flist, who backed him up that I was a bad person and hated children with special needs (of course he refused to use my name but the posts were made at the same time). So this scandal didn't shock me at all.

As my grandmother used to say, Give a lair enough rope and he/she will hang themselves with it. He was full of himself, got sloppy and now everyone knows about him, so he ran away.

He wasn't trying to hurt anyone in the beginning, he was trying to boost his self-esteem by making himself seem more than he was, making himself important, and preying on caring people to do it. In the end he became a succubus and fed on all of the attention and accolades he'd receive and this is what hurt everyone, he used you all as food. No one deserves that.

Don't let this harden you, don't let this make you not trust because for every DW37 there are far more true, honest, caring, and friendly for sake of friendship, people out there making your life happier.

I wish Dean Winchester was real, he'd kick his ass for us just for the sake of virtue on his adoring fangirls behalf.

As you already know another person posting "on behalf" another using their journal belongs to the well known behavior patterns in people who exhibited Münchausen by Internet (if you go through the list you will find more that fit).

These "two" users also created the LJ group griefsupportgrp which makes the whole lying thing 1000-times more fucked up because why? Did they get off on stories of death and suffering of other people? That is literally the only explanation that makes sense, simply looking for attention won't cover it.

dreamweaver37 made a post on September 30th 2015, it included pictures of two of "his adopted kids":

The pictures were familiar to a number of users and as it turns out they were right to be suspicious.

Picture #1 is supposed to be an American little girl named Pearl, in reality it is a boy named Kullen, from Eastern Europe (Russia or Ukraine, most probably Russia as the country banned international adoptions of their children and the description on the child's profile lists this as the reason of the child not being currently available for adoption in the US):

Picture #2 is supposed to be an American boy named Addison, in reality it is an Eastern European boy named Sheldon (yes, American tv shows and movies are popular in Eastern Europe too which results in American names of kids, especially orphans to raise their chances of adoption by foreigners):

dreamweaver37 claimed that these children were from his area and they were approached by their social worker as adoptive parents, these pictures expose this as a lie.
Notice also the dates of birth of these children, dreamweaver37 claims that his children are babies/toddlers, that would not be the case of these children, "Pearl" would have to be 6 years old by now and "Addison" 9.

He uploaded one more picture of a child with DS into his scrapbook (to possibly use in future as the picture of one of his other children):

The picture has been lifted from the same website (so even his wishes of respect for "privacy" would make no sense as these stolen pictures are publicly available), it is a boy named Spencer.

It is not surprising news that fanfiction writers are highly underappreciated.

There’s something wrong with the numbers: let’s take a popular fic with almost 4k hits. For let’s say 700 readers, it will get about 50 comments and 300 Kudos (those numbers are just an example, sometimes it’s worse than that). Maybe I’m being too kind, maybe not, but things stay the same; there’s something wrong here. Can you see it?

It takes us days, weeks, sometimes months to write a story for you. We write for ourselves yes, but we also write to share. We write to offer you content about your favourite characters. We write to bring our and your ships to life. It takes you a fraction of second to leave a Kudos, ten seconds to one, two or a few minutes to leave a comment.

And here lies our problem: there’s no proper sharing if there’s no proper feedback. An author not getting comments is generally a sad author. If I didn’t get feedback I’d wonder what’s the point in keeping on writing. A comment makes a writer’s day, most of the time even motivates them to write more.

Another important thing thrandythefabulous and I noticed: why on Earth do so many readers not comment (even kudos) if the fic has been up for more than a week or two? Why? Your feedback is still welcomed and much appreciated years after posting.

We write for ourselves, but also we write for you. And sadly, many readers are being quite… ungrateful, when giving feedback is the least they can do to thank the people offering them stories for free.

So, before we get started on our little day, let’s talk about comments:

It doesn’t matter if other readers already said what you wanted to say, we’ll still love reading it again in your words.

It doesn’t matter the fic has been up for weeks or months or years; comments on those ones are unexpected and so, it makes them ever better.

It doesn’t matter if you don’t have much to say, we’ll be glad anyway.

Most authors leave the comment section open to people who don’t have an AO3 account, which means you can still… comment! How amazing is that.

That brings us to our little Fanfiction Writers Appreciation Day.

The point of this day is simple; on August 21st, writers and readers alike would go on AO3 (or any fanfiction website really), on Tumblr, and leave a comment on their favourite fics (even the fics they enjoyed!) and/or send their authors a message about their works.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve already or never commented. It doesn’t matter if the author doesn’t know about this post. It doesn’t matter if the author already knows how much you love their work.

Just let writers know you love the fics they write for you, simple as that!

And well, don’t forget to keep leaving a Kudos and a comment in the future, and make writers happy!

I've decided that I am going day by day from now on and not trying to plan ahead until all of this is over. If you follow me on fb you know this already... My incision opened up today. It's only a one inch superficial break at the stress point/load bearing area of my abdomen. It worries me because of possible infection and going back to work I don't want to open it any more than it is. The doctor isn't worried, just said to keep it clean and dry and it should knit itself together again. I know all of this when I am of rational mind but I freaked out when I lifted my belly to dry under it and saw pink with blood on the towel. I'm trying to be level-headed now and take it one day at a time.
