Supporting Workers and Businesses Our Services

NYSDOL defends all New Yorkers from illness, injury, and injustice. We provide education, consultation, and enforcement services to keep workers safe and help businesses achieve compliance with New York State Labor Laws.

We aim to strengthen the economy by providing barrier-free access to programs and services for adults, dislocated workers, youth, and special populations. We can help you find a registered apprenticeship program, career center, or information about exciting career opportunities.

At NYSDOL, we are committed to supporting New Yorkers by helping workers and businesses navigate the unemployment services process. Unemployment Insurance helps eligible workers who lost their job through no fault of their own with weekly payments to offset the loss of income while they look for a new job.
