Hey everyone!!

OMG I haven't been on livejournal in SOOO long!! But I wanted to update you all on what I've been doing these past few years yes I said years! Okay so I've been making so much graphics and writing fanfiction too. I was wondering if you guys would like to see them again. FYI I've sorta moved away from some of the fandoms I made graphics for and then I've gotten into new fandoms as well.

So if you guys would like see my stuff just let me know there is a lot I've done over the years and it's going to take me a while to get it all posted' I'm talking about the graphics here not the fanfiction.

I hope it's liked. I think it's some of my best work I've done in a while. I used my recently bought Sony Vegas program to make this video and I must say it's one amazing program to work with I just love it to death don't why I didn't get it earlier and make my other videos on it. It's complicated at first, but I'm really get used to it now...anyway here's the video:

Summary: After the argument in Dependent, Olivia goes to the morgue and tries to get Melinda back with her.

As Melinda finishes her diction of the autopsy on the victim Ryan Bedford, Olivia appears in the doorway. Melinda looks up at her.

“Olivia, I can't talk to you about this,” she says as she turns off her dicta-phone.

Taking a deep breath, Olivia sighs. “I know.”

Melinda walks over to her and takes her hand into hers. “I know that you want to exonerate Elliot and so do I, but my ruling is homicide. I'm sorry.”

“But Melinda, you know Elliot. You know he could never hurt anyone,” presses the detective.

“I know that, Olivia ... I'm sorry,” Melinda replies somberly.

“Are you really sorry?” Olivia smirks.

“Yes,” the M.E. whispers into her ear.

Olivia whispers back, “Tell me how sorry.”

“This sorry.” Melinda moves closer to Olivia and gently plants a passionate kiss upon her lips. Slowly, Olivia returns the kiss with equal intensity, Melinda holding her close. The brunette detective mirrors Melinda's movements. After a few minutes they pause for air, both breathing heavily, and each step back smiling at each other.

“You know, that the best kiss ever,” Melinda mutters.

“Ever”? Olivia repeats.

The M.E. explains: “I mean that I've had in a while, since you've been gone. I missed that.”

“I missed it, too. And you as well.” agreed the brunette.

“I missed you, too. I'm so glad you're back.”

“Me too.”

Melinda leans over to Olivia and takes her in her arms and holds her, whispering loving words into the other woman's ear. She sways with Olivia, who has returned the embrace. With a content sigh, the detective glances up at Melinda and caresses her cheek. “You know I love you don't you?” Melinda asked.

“Yes, I do,” Olivia affirms. “I love you, too.” They gaze at each other for a moment; Olivia cups Melinda's face and pulls her close as they kiss, showing their love.

If you don't recognize her by name, you definitely know her face. Tamara Tunie's twenty-plus year career as an actress is one of few that span both daytime, nighttime and Broadway. She is arguably one of entertainment's most steady and reliable players.

Many of us know Tamara for her current role in "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" as Medical Examiner Dr. Melinda Warner - a role she has portrayed since 2000. However, one of her most memorable roles on television is the longstanding character Jessica Griffin (1987-1995) on the daytime drama “As The World Turns” for which she received two NAACP Image Award and two Soap Opera Digest award nominations.

She's also starred as Alberta Green in season one of the hit series “24” . At that time, Tamara was also working on "As The World Turns" and "Law & Order", earning her the distinction of being the only actor in television to appear simultaneously on three different series, for three different networks. In addition to television, Tamara is a Broadway veteran, having starred on with Denzel Washington in Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar,” the play’s first Broadway staging in over 50 years; and received rave reviews for her turn in the lead role of Madame de Merteuil in “Les Liasons Dangereuse” at the Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey. In 2007, Tunie became a Broadway producer for the Tony Award-winning musical “Spring Awakening.” She also produced August Wilson’s Tony Award nominated “Radio Golf.”

Hi Tamara it is such a pleasure to speak with you today Miss Law and Order! So tell your fans what you have been up to?

Well we were on hiatus for the summer and that’s always nice after a long season and I was able to take a little vacation; some of it was work related but we had a good time. I have been working with HBO who is one of the sponsors for the Black Film Festival and I am the host for the short film competition. I’ve been doing it for about 8 years and it’s really great to see the up and coming black film makers. So it’s been nice and we are back in production for the season so I’m pretty busy.

Tamara I know a lot about your background but tell our readers about your upbringing in a funeral parlor!

Yes I grew up in Pittsburg; both of my parents are morticians and I was raised in the funeral home business. But it was really a natural part of life for me and my parents still operate a funeral home!

Well I believe that explains why you play your role of Dr. Melinda Warner so well!

So Tamara we at Mahogany Butterfly LOVE Broadway and I see you have been writing and producing so tell me some more about that; can we expect any debuts from you this season?
Not this season. I’ve been fortunate enough to get some beginners luck with working on "Spring Awakening" and then followed it up with August Wilsons "Radio Golf". Presently I am on the committee for the Tony Awards and if you are a nominator and have a show that you are producing or participating in, then you have to excuse yourself from the nominating process. I see it as an honor to be a part of the nominators so I had to take a break from producing at this time.

Tamara how do you encourage children to get into the arts? Here’s a scenario, if you created a program for children what would it include?

Great question! If I created a program it would almost be like an arts and education program; I actually worked with an organization called Figure Skating in Harlem where they couple figure skating and the importance of a good education; so if I created something for kids it would be very similar to that program. It would include all the life building skills that youths need!

You know somebody was talking to me about the beauty pageants for kids and I am so NOT with that! I think there is no way during those formative years as a child that they will not be impacted in a negative way with those beauty pageants, I mean when I was a kid the community center would have a talent show and we would participate but it wasn’t about superficial looks, so I encourage children to read and work hard!

Thank you for saying that Tamara! I hope your words inspire youths throughout the country to stay in school, read and work hard. So Tamara what actor would you most enjoy working with? (We both start giggling)

I would LOVE to work with Laurence Fishburne! You know he’s a friend of mine, he is a delicious actor and I would really like to collaborate with him on a project.

You are beautiful Tamara. What does beauty mean to you?

For me beauty is the spirit of a person, if you’re beautiful on the inside it can’t help but show through on the outside.

Now you also must have a great wardrobe LOL so who is your favorite designer?

Oh I love B. Michael!

Yes B. Michael has great clothes for executive type women!

Yes he does couture and he designs for a lot of celebrities, so that’s my guy!

If you had to verbalize a slogan for your life what would it be?

Just Do IT! You know like Nike?

How ironic because that is my slogan.

And another one I use depending on the day is "Expect the best but prepare for the worst"

Now just so you guys know, this is how I think that Melivia been all this time on the show and by that I mean what's happened with them, so I decided to write it out in a fic, at first I wasn't going to do it because this a secret thing I have with them, but I wanted to do it because well I just did I guess kinda lame answer I know. I hope you guys like it.

Melinda's House: 5 years ago

Melinda entered her house after a long day at the morgue. Petey came over to her as she arrived to greet her. “Hey, boy. Hey, how are you, huh?” she cooed as he wagged his tail at her and gave her a doggy kiss. Her husband was waiting in the living room. She sighed as she walked in and sat down next to him. "We need to talk,” she said simply.

“Okay, what about?” her husband responded.

“Us, this marriage. I know we've been trying to fix it and I just don't think it's working anymore—at least not for me and the truth is... I'm in love with someone else and I want a divorce.”

“You what?” he said with both shock and anger.

“I didn't... We didn't mean for it to happen, it just did. I'm sorry,” Melinda muttered while looking down at the floor. But she knew that statement was a lie; they could have controlled their feelings for each other, had not said anything about it, but they both knew they were in love with each other they didn't have to say anything to each other.

Melinda had just talked with the Olivia the day before and she told her plan, everything from telling her husband that she wanted a divorce and telling him that she was in love with Olivia or someone else as Olivia wanted it put. They both promised each other that they would wait until Melinda got divorced before they really committed to each other. Olivia said she would wait for as long as Melinda needed. She loved her so much and really wanted this to work, but at the same time she did not want to be responsible for breaking up Melinda's marriage or being the other woman. She was not like that.

A few months later, Melinda's divorce was finalized and she and her husband decided that they would share custody of their daughter, although she was to live with her father; she would have every other week visitation with her mother.

Finally they could be together like they have always wanted to.

5 years later: The Morgue

Olivia walked into the morgue and stopped to stare at Melinda. Even ten years later they still were in love with each other, but there was a secret they had not told anyone. They talked about telling the guys, but what would be the point of that? Nothing really, because they were happy and that is all they cared about. Olivia was deep in thought when she heard a voice calling to her. “Olivia.” Said detective shook out of her daydreaming and smiled.

“Hey,” Melinda said, smiling.

“Hi.”

“What are you doing down here?" the M.E. asked.

“I just wanted to see how you were doing on the autopsy if you were done,” Olivia said.

“Uh, almost done, yes.”

Olivia sighed. “Okay, that wasn't really true. I just wanted to see you.”

“Oh?” Melinda raised an eyebrow.

“I think we should talk."

“Okay, sure. What about?” she asked curiously.

“I'm just going to say this right out...” Olivia started bluntly. Melinda noded her head, letting Olivia continue. “I think we should tell everyone."

“Why? It's no one's business.”

“Well, I just think we should—I mean, why should we keep it a secret anymore,” the detective mused aloud.

Melinda sighed heavily and took Olivia's hand into hers. “Baby, I love you so much, so if you want to tell people I understand and I'll be right there with you all the way.” Melinda cupped the brunette's face gently and kissed her to prove her point.

Olivia whispered, “Thank you.”

Melinda smiled. “No problem; anything to make you happy. Besides, maybe it won't be so bad, but you know I do love this secret thing—especially since I've gotten used to it for so long.”

“I love it too, but I think this is right thing to do.” Olivia smiled back at her.

“Okay then. I'll support you all the way if this is what you really want to do,” she said as she kissed the detective again.

“I do!” Olivia proudly confessed.

A Few Days Later: Special Victims Unit Precinct

Olivia sat at her desk working on paperwork while Elliot was in court for a case and Fin and Munch were interrogating a suspect in Interview Room 1. After about an hour she decided to take a breather, stretch and move around. She walked into Cragen's office to let him know that she was taking a short break. He told her to go ahead because she had been working non-stop for the last day or so, not to mention the excessive paperwork she had been doing. She exited the precinct and dialed the familiar number she knew so well.

After a few rings the phone was answered by the woman she loved so much.

“Hey, baby,” Olivia said sweetly.

“Hi!” Melinda greeted happily. Her tone changed to seem more worried: “Are you okay?”

“Yeah, sweetie, I'm great. I just thought I'd call you and see if you'd like to get some lunch with me. I told Cragen that I was going on a break so...” her voice trailed off.

“Sure, but I think we'll have to have our little date here at the morgue because I've got tons of paperwork to finish up from some recent cases.”

“Ha, that's funny; I was just doing paperwork. I also have tons of it—that's why I needed a break.” Olivia chuckles. “Okay, well let me know what you want and I'll be over in a few minutes.”

“A salad is good... I'm not really all that hungry for much at the moment.”

“Sure, no problem. See you in a few minutes then. Love you.”

“Love you, too. See ya in a bit,” Melinda said as she hung up. Olivia did the same.

Olivia descended the precinct stairs and headed to the deli down the street. Once inside, she waited patiently for her turn. A few moments later, she ordered a salad for Melinda and what she wanted for herself and then made her way to the morgue. She went straight to Melinda's office. Her door was closed, of course, so she knocked on it politely. She heard Melinda's voice from the other side: “Come in!” The brunette entered the office and smiled at the M.E. waiting for her.

“Hey, you're here,” Melinda greeted her.

"Yes, here's your salad.”

“Thank you,” she said as she took the salad from Olivia's hands.

“Sure, I'd do anything for you,” the detective replied as she sat down next to Melinda and ate her lunch, while Melinda did the same. The meal between the two was quiet, with little looks of love and a lot of smiles.

After lunch they started to talk again. “Well, are we ready to tell people then?” asked Melinda.

Her companion exhaled uneasily. “I guess so.”

Melinda looked at Olivia. “Sweetheart, it's okay. I know you're nervous, but I'm right here and I'll be there for you all the way.”

The brunette sighed in relief. “I love you, you know that? I needed that.”

“I know you did, that's why I said it and I'm glad I've made you feel better. I love you, too.” Melinda leaned in and kissed her passionately.

They got up from their chairs and headed back to the precinct. Once they walked in and held each others hands, Olivia was practically gripping Melinda for dear life. The M.E. felt this and whispered in Olivia's ear, “Babe, it's okay—we'll be okay. I'm right here.” Olivia loosened her grip, albeit slightly.

“Sorry, I'm just a little scared about how they'll react to the news,” she confessed.

“I know, but you're not alone; we are in this together.” Melinda smiled. They let go of each other and walked into the squad room. Everyone was there: Elliot was working on paperwork and so were John and Fin. They all look up as Melinda and Olivia came in.

“Hey, you two,” Elliot greeted.

“Hey, guys. We have some news to tell you,” Olivia greeted nervously.

“Okay—wait, let me guess: you guys are working together on a case?” was Munch's assumption.

“No,” Melinda answered.

“Could you just tell us already? Enough with the suspense,” Elliot pressed.

Melinda nodded her head at Olivia. “Here it goes: we are married." Everyone started laughing.

“That's really...” Elliot trailed off, unsure of how to finish.

John was perplexed as well. “Say what?”

“Whoa... What do you know? Liv's got a love life and I don't—I'm happy for ya, baby girl. Congratulations” said Fin, who was smiling.

“Well, I'm not to judge, but I agree with Fin; as long as you're happy, Liv, then I'm happy for you. So, congrats.” John and Fin got up from their desks and gave both women hugs and kisses on the cheeks. Elliot, on the other hand, was still in shock.

“Elliot, are you okay? I'm sorry I didn't tell you, I just didn't know how to,” Olivia assured honestly.

“You could have said something to me in the last few years instead of hiding it,” replied Elliot a bit angrily.

“Look, I said I was sorry, okay? What else can I say?” Olivia shot back. “I'm so happy with Melinda. I love her so much and she loves me. I mean, you should be happy for me, you know. I finally found someone who loves me and who takes care of me.”

“I know you're happy; I can see it when you're with her and when she's with you, but you should have told me. How long have you guys been, uh, you know, married?"

The female detective replied a bit too happily: “Five years ago!"
“What! Five years...” Elliot reacted with his mouth agape. He sighed heavily before continuing. “Liv... I'm just in shock. I mean, five years ago! So, you had an affair with her then?” Elliot asked, trying to figure out the whole thing.

“No, of course not! I told her I'd wait until she got divorced and that's what we did. We knew we were in love with each other way before she got divorced, but I asked her and she agreed that we should wait before we commit ourselves to each other and the rest is... well, you know the rest.”

“Oh.”

“'Oh.' That's all you've got to say is 'Oh,' Elliot?” Olivia was curious as to why he seemed so speechless.

“Well, Liv, what do you expect me to say? I mean, you just told me you're married to someone we work with and not to mention a woman,” he stated.

“Well, you could at least say 'congratulations' or be happy for me,” Olivia retorted whilst raising an eyebrow.

“Okay, fine: I'm happy for you. There, I said it."

“Say it like you mean it.”

Her partner smiled. “Liv... I'm sorry. I really am happy for you, I'm just still in shock, that's all.”

“Thanks, El,” Olivia returned the gesture. “Well, I've gotta to get back to Melinda, so...”

“Okay then, you'd better get going,” Elliot said.

Olivia walked back to Melinda and put her arms around her. “Well, my wife and I are going for a walk so we'll see you guys later!”

“Okay,” They all replied in unison.

“Oh, Liv, what do you want to tell Cragen?” Elliot asked.

“Tell him I'm married,” was her simple request.

“You're kidding, right? The man will have a heart attack!”

“Well, break it to him gently.” The SVU team chuckled at the thought.
“We'll try.”

Olivia turned back to her wife and smiled at her; the other woman was smiling back. “Well, sweetie, are we ready to go?" asked the M.E.

“Yep, I'm ready,” the detective replied. They walked out of the precinct, hand and hand, this time feeling proud of themselves for finally revealing the secret of their marriage.
