The integration between ParcelForce<\/a><\/strong> and Advanced Shipment Tracking (AST) PRO<\/strong> is fully automatic \u2014 there\u2019s no plugin to install<\/strong> and no configuration required<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2705 How the Integration Works<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Once AST PRO is installed, tracking information from ParcelForce is automatically added to your WooCommerce orders when shipping labels are generated via your connected fulfillment system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here’s what happens:<\/p>\n\n\n

  • <\/svg>You generate a shipping label using the ParcelForce plugin<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/li>
  • <\/svg>AST automatically receives and saves the tracking number to the Shipment Tracking Order Meta<\/strong><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/li>
  • <\/svg>The order status is updated to Shipped (Completed)<\/strong><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/li>
  • <\/svg>Customers receive a shipping confirmation email<\/strong> containing the AST tracking widget<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/li>
  • <\/svg>Tracking also appears on the customer\u2019s View Order<\/strong> page<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n

    No additional action is needed to enable this integration \u2014 it works out of the box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \ud83e\udde9 Carrier Name Mapping (Recommended)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    In some cases, ParcelForce may send a carrier name that doesn\u2019t exactly match AST\u2019s list of recognized shipping carriers. If this happens, the tracking link may not appear<\/strong> in the customer\u2019s email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To ensure correct display:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \ud83d\udd27 Map Carrier Names in AST<\/h3>\n\n\n
    • <\/svg>Go to WooCommerce > Shipment Tracking > Shipping Carriers<\/strong><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/li>
    • <\/svg>Click Edit<\/strong> next to ParcelForce<\/strong> (or the relevant carrier)<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/li>
    • <\/svg>In the Custom API Name<\/strong> field, enter the exact carrier name used by ParcelForce<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/li>
    • <\/svg>Use the \u2795 icon to add multiple variations if needed<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/li>
    • <\/svg>Click Update<\/strong> to save<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n

      This ensures AST identifies the carrier correctly and includes a working tracking link in email notifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
