W<\/span>Pvivid Image Optimization plugin is an all-in-one WordPress image optimization plugin that provides the ability to easily optimize images on your WordPress website in bulk, which will greatly help to improve Google PageSpeed Insights score of the website.<\/p>\n

In this guide, we\u2019ll see how to use WPvivid Image Optimization plugin to optimize images on your WordPress site.<\/p>\n

Install WPvivid Image Optimization Free<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Like any other WordPress plugins, you can easily install the WPvivid Image Optimization plugin from your WordPress dashboard.<\/p>\n

First, on your WordPress dashboard > left admin menu >\u00a0Plugins<\/em>\u00a0>\u00a0Add New<\/em>.<\/p>\n

On the page that opens, search for\u00a0WPvivid Image Optimization<\/em>\u00a0> Click\u00a0Install<\/em>\u00a0> Click\u00a0Activate<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Once done, you will see\u00a0WPvivid Imgoptim<\/em>\u00a0showing up on your left admin menu. Click it to open the plugin page.<\/p>\n

Sign up to Get An API License(It\u2019s Free!)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Next, on the plugin page, you will need to sign up to get an API license. You may ask why do I need to sign up? That is because we use our own private server groups for images optimization, for security reasons, users will need to sign up to gain access to the servers.<\/p>\n

To sign up, simply enter your email on the field, then click\u00a0Sign up, it\u2019s free<\/em>\u00a0button. You will then see a message of \u2018An API license has been sent to your email address, please check it.<\/em>\u2018<\/p>\n

Note: <\/strong>It\u2019s completely free to sign up and each account signed up will have 2000 credits per month for optimizing up to 2000 images.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

GDPR Note: <\/strong>Our\u00a0servers\u00a0do\u00a0not\u00a0receive\u00a0any\u00a0personal\u00a0information\u00a0of\u00a0your\u00a0website\u00a0except\u00a0for\u00a0the\u00a0images\u00a0that\u00a0you\u00a0want\u00a0to\u00a0optimize.\u00a0And we\u00a0won\u2019t\u00a0keep\u00a0any\u00a0copies\u00a0of your\u00a0images\u00a0on\u00a0our sever.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Next, go to your email account, check and copy the API license in the inbox(if you do not see it in inbox, check your spam folder and make sure that your mailbox is not full).<\/p>\n

Paste the API key on the\u00a0API license<\/em>\u00a0field on the plugin and click\u00a0Connect to Server<\/em>\u00a0button.<\/p>\n

Once done, it will automatically redirect to the page where you can start optimizing images.<\/p>\n

Start Optimizing Images<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Recommended: <\/strong>It is recommended to back up the entire website with\u00a0WPvivid Backup & Migration plugin (It\u2019s free).<\/a>before optimizing images.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Before starting optimizing images, you can choose to only resize images or compress and resize all images and choose the server where you want to perform the optimization.<\/p>\n

Next, click\u00a0Optimize Now<\/em>\u00a0button to start the process.<\/p>\n

Once done, you will see a success message pop up. Click OK to confirm.<\/p>\n

Manage(Check or Restore) Optimized Images<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n

All optimized images will be displayed in the\u00a0Optimized Images<\/em>\u00a0list, where you can view all the optimized images and select specific images to restore it to unoptimized status.<\/p>\n

To restore an image, select it from the list and choose\u00a0Restore selected images<\/em>\u00a0from the dropdown menu, click\u00a0Apply<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Lazyload Images<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n

On the Lazyload page(that you can access from Lazyload under the WPvivid Imgoptim menu on your left admin menu), you can enable the images lazyload option and configure the lazyload settings as needed:<\/p>\n
