{"id":104048,"date":"2019-06-03T17:08:20","date_gmt":"2019-06-03T11:38:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wbcomdesigns.com\/?post_type=bwl_kb&amp;p=104048"},"modified":"2019-06-03T17:08:20","modified_gmt":"2019-06-03T11:38:20","slug":"learndash-general-settings","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/docs.wbcomdesigns.com\/docs\/learndash\/learndash-general-settings\/","title":{"rendered":"LearnDash General Settings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>General settings basically contain LearnDash&#8217;s global settings, navigate to:<br \/>\n<strong>Dashboard &gt;&gt; LearnDash LMS &gt;&gt; Settings &gt;&gt; General\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You will get the following options:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1) Design and Content Elements<\/strong> &#8211; Alter the look and feel of your learning management system.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>LearnDash theme<\/strong> &#8211; Allows you to select template (Legacy or LearnDash 3.0).<br \/>\nThe LearnDash 3.0 template will be selected on new installations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Accent Color<\/strong> &#8211; Main color used throughout the theme (buttons, action items, and highlights).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Progress Color<\/strong> &#8211; Color used for all successful progress-related items (completed items, certificates, and progress bars).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Notifications, Warnings, etc.<\/strong> &#8211; This color is used when there are warning, important messages.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Focus Mode<\/strong> &#8211; Provide a distraction-free course experience allowing users to focus on the content. This applies to ALL courses.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Login &amp; Registration<\/strong> &#8211; When active the LearnDash templates will be used for user login and registration pages.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Logo Upload<\/strong> &#8211; This logo will appear in the Focus Mode and LearnDash Login form when enabled. Optional.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2) Global Pagination Settings<\/strong> &#8211; Specify the default number f items displayed per page for various listing outputs.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>WP Profile<\/strong> &#8211; Controls the pagination for the WordPress Profile LearnDash elements.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Shortcodes &amp; Widgets<\/strong> &#8211; Controls the global pagination for the LD shortcodes as well as courseinfo widget. These can be overridden individually.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Backend Question Widget<\/strong> &#8211; Controls the pagination for the Questions admin widget when editing a quiz or question.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3) Admin User Settings<\/strong> &#8211; Controls the admin user-experience navigating courses.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Course Auto-enrollment<\/strong> &#8211; Allow admin users to have access to courses automatically without requiring course enrollment.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bypass Course limits<\/strong> &#8211; Allow admin users to access course content in any order bypassing progression and access limitations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Include in Reports<\/strong> &#8211; Include admin users in reports, including ProPanel reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>4) Rest API Settings<\/strong> &#8211; Control and customize the Rest API endpoints.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Enabled REST API<\/strong> &#8211; Customize the LearnDash REST API namespace and endpoints.
