Host a fundraising event

PayBee supports three event formats. Choose the one that fits your needs:

Event Type
Best for

Guests attend at a physical venue. They may participate in a silent auction with mobile bidding

Donors watch and give from home via livestream

A mix of both — in-person guests and remote viewers for live auction and paddle raise.

Run a fundraising campaign

Whether you're planning your first gala or setting up a year-round giving program, campaigns are the core of how your organization raises money on this platform. You can run a campaign with or without an event — and most campaigns work best when you combine a few types together.

Here's what's available and when to use each:

Cover

(Fund-a-Need, Paddle Raise, pledge drives, one-time or recurring gifts) — Use this for your primary ask. Paddle Raise and Fund-a-Need work great during live events when you want to inspire a room; pledge drives and recurring gifts are better for sustained, year-round giving.

Cover

(event tickets, raffle tickets, event-day purchases) — Use this any time you're hosting a paid event or want to sell chances to win a prize. Raffle tickets can be sold before or at the event.

Cover

Use this to generate competitive bidding on donated items or experiences. Silent auctions run through mobile bidding (guests bid on their phones) or with traditional bid sheets; live auctions are facilitated by an auctioneer, and you sell the item to the highest bidder.

Cover

Use this when donors want to give a large amount over time (e.g., $10,000 paid in monthly installments). Great for major gift conversations.

Cover

Use this as an engagement game during events: guests sponsor a player/ donate an amount to win an item, and the last one standing wins. It's a fun way to boost donations mid-event.

Cover

Use this to track and receipt non-cash contributions like auction items, services, or goods. Important for donor acknowledgment and tax records.

Cover

Use this when you want your supporters to fundraise for you — great for runs, walks, giving days, or ambassador-style campaigns where donors bring in their own networks.

Cover

Use this to sell branded items or event merchandise before, during, or after an event. You can sell items such as drink tickets, food tickets, tickets for opportunities like a wine pull or other event-day sales.

Cover

Use this to let donors reserve a spot at a smaller experience or dinner party, often used as an add-on to a larger event.

Cover

Use this to let devotees sponsor or request a puja ceremony for a specific occasion — a birthday, anniversary, memorial, or blessing. Supporters select the type of puja and dedication, and the temple can issue a receipt for the contribution. A good fit for temples looking to formalize sponsorship requests they're already receiving informally.
