Nitrate.trade is a Telegram bot that lets you trade perpetual options on Avantis (Base) without ever leaving the app.

ℹ️ Info: Nitrate is currently in beta. There might be some bugs - please report any issues you encounter.

🧰 Prerequisites

  • ✅ Telegram installed
  • ✅ USDC on the Base network
  • ✅ Access to Nitrate Trade Bot

Getting Started with Nitrate Bot

1. Start the Bot

2. Create Wallet

  • The bot will generate a custodial wallet
  • This is where you'll deposit funds and trade from

3. Deposit USDC

  • Send USDC (Base network only) to the provided wallet address

📈 Placing a Trade

1. Send the Command

/long eth

This starts the process of opening a long perpetual options position on the ETHUSD market.

2. Select Leverage

  • You'll be prompted to choose a leverage level.
  • Options range from:
    • Standard: 1×–75×
    • Zero-fee: 75×–500×

🟣 In this example, 2× leverage was selected.

3. Enter Collateral Amount

  • Bot will show your available margin (e.g., $28.00)
  • Type in how much USDC you want to use as collateral

4. Review Position Summary

The bot returns a position preview:

📈 Long ETHUSD 2×
Collateral: 9.55 USDC
Position Size: $19.10
Open Price: $3768.35
Liquidation Price: $2166.80

5. Confirm or Cancel

  • Tap ✅ Confirm to open the position
  • Tap ❌ Cancel to back out

Once confirmed, your trade is executed onchain.

Send

/positions

You'll get a list of all your open trades across markets.

Each one shows:

  • Market (e.g. ETHUSD Long 2x)
  • Collateral used
  • Open Price, Market Price
  • Liquidation Price
  • Size, TP, SL, and PnL

🎯 To See a Specific Market

Send:

/positions eth

This filters the view to just your ETH trades.

Same format — you'll get:

  • Live PnL
  • Entry & liquidation details
  • Trade size
  • A visual card with wallet balance and position info
