AutoBid - Car Auctions & Multivendor Marketplace Theme

The first option on how to install this Theme would be to directly upload the AutoBid.zip file via WordPress Theme Uploader.

• Log into your WordPress dashboard
• Navigate to Appearance > Themes
• Click Install Themes
• Click Upload
• Now you just need to find the "AutoBid.zip" file in the Upload folder and hit Install now.

The second option on how to install our Theme would be the upload via FTP manager. It really doesn't matter which of the two ways you choose, just choose the one you feel more comfortable with.

• Login to your FTP account and navigate to your WordPress Installation directory
• Navigate to the folder /wp-content/themes/
• Upload the "AutoBid" folder (not the .zip-file). This is the folder located inside the "Upload" folder in the zip-file you've downloaded from Themeforest.
• Now log into your WordPress backend
• Navigate to Appearance > Themes
• Find the Theme and click Activate

So at this stage you have probably noticed a warning, asking you to install recommended plugins. This is needed to get the Theme Panel plugin and a few other plugins for the theme to work perfectly. Installing that is very simple, you just need to click Begin installing plugins and you will be redirected to the plugin installation page where you can install any Plugin you want or you need.

Important: New Theme Activator added in order to import demo data (theme panel tab). New "Demo_Data" folder from the package has been removed. Only automatic demo import will be used starting with this update. In case the automatic demo importer has issues on your installation, please contact our help team to provide the offline files for demo import.

The colors can be changed from more than 1 settings panel.

• Go to the Theme Panel - Styling;
• By using the colors pickers you will be able to adapt the colors as per the new skin layout;
• * Note: On some pages, the colors will not be applied from this panel. In this situation, you should edit that page and clear of change this option:

This option will override the colors from the theme panel. You can clear it or replace it (our recommendation is to clear it). It can be modified only if you need other colors for this particular page (other then the one set on the theme panel).

Option Type: Theme Panel Option - To access this option and add Google Fonts go to Theme Panel -> Styling Settings -> Typography

The auction functionality is provided with the help of the WooCommerce Simple Auctions plugin, which offers:

• Normal, reverse and private auctions
• Manually or automatically relist auctions
• WPML compatibility

Managing auctions and products

Auctions and products can be added from the Vendor Dashboard in the Products section

The Add new product button allows to quickly create a new product and its initial details

   1. Schedule the price discount
5. Add more photos for the product
6. Select a category to easily find the product
7. Add tags for easier search

9. Create the product and close dialog box
10. Create the product and keep the dialog box open to dd another product

Edit auction

1. Auction title
2. Options:
   • Downloadable - The product can be a file that will be downloaded
   • Virtual - The product is virtual, like a service or file, it is intangible and cannot be shipped
   • Auction - The product is an auction and has auctions options enabled

7. Short description - the first text the clients will see about the product

Dokan is a bundled plugin, so it can be installed with all the other plugins in the process of installing the theme

The are two required steps to check before seeing the reviews tab on single product/auction page.

1. The Enable product reviews option (WooCommerce settings)
2. The Product Enable reviews option (product edit view)

1. The "Enable product reviews" Option: To allow users and sellers review products you have to firstly enable the product reviews option. To to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Products -> Enable reviews -> Enable product reviews

After enabling the option, it will toggle more review options: (Feel free to modify them as you wish). The one that matters here is the "Enable product reviews".

2. Product Enable reviews option: This option is placed on the Advanced tab and works as explained below:

1. Unchecked by default: When The "Enable product reviews" Option was disabled and new products were created in the meantime.
2. Checked by default: When The "Enable product reviews" Option is enabled from settings.
3. Missing at all: When The "Enable product reviews" Option is disabled from settings.

To allow for account registration

Please make sure that in Dashboard -> Settings -> General ->Anyone can register is turned on

And also in Woocommerce -> Settings -> Accounts and Privacy -> Allow customers to create an account on the "My account" page
