AI Amazon Research Agent

The Launch Fast MCP turns Claude (or any AI assistant) into an Amazon research agent. Ask it to research a niche, pull keywords for competitor ASINs, find Gold Suppliers, track your rankings, or check IP risks — and it calls real Launch Fast data to answer, not guesses. Everything the dashboard can do, your AI can now do inside the conversation.

What the Agent Can Do

Once connected, your AI agent has access to five Amazon research tools it can call on its own or chain together across a workflow:

Product Research: Analyze any Amazon niche by keyword. The agent pulls market grades, revenue estimates, average pricing, review counts, and the top products, then helps you interpret whether the opportunity is worth pursuing. You can also hand it a list of keywords and it will work through them sequentially, giving you a side-by-side comparison across multiple niches so you can see which market has the strongest signal before going deeper.

Keyword Research: Give the agent a product or a list of ASINs and it will pull the keywords those products rank for, along with search volume, CPC, and competitor positions. You can also paste in your existing campaign performance data and ask the agent to cross-reference it with keyword research. It will tell you which keywords are worth bidding on, which are underperforming relative to their volume, and where competitors are ranking that you aren't. Useful for finding gaps and building stronger PPC campaigns without having to manually correlate the data yourself.

Supplier Research: The agent can search Alibaba for manufacturers matching your product, filtered by quality score, Gold Supplier status, Trade Assurance, MOQ, location, and years in business. If you have a browser automation MCP like the Chrome MCP connected alongside Launch Fast, the agent can go further: open supplier pages, draft outreach messages, or help you think through responses to supplier quotes directly in the same conversation.

Rank Tracker: Track up to 3 ASINs and ask the agent for a ranking update at any time. It returns current keyword positions, search volume, and movement trends for each tracked product. Paste in your campaign performance alongside a ranking update and the agent can cross-reference the two, flagging keywords where your organic rank is strong but ad spend is wasted, or where a ranking drop lines up with a budget change.

IP Check: Before committing to a product or brand name, the agent can run a trademark and patent search against USPTO databases and return a risk level (LOW, MEDIUM, or HIGH) with the matching records. Hand it a list of brand name candidates and it will check each one, then help you decide which is the safest and most available option based on the results.

Example Workflows

The real value is chaining these together. A single conversation can cover:

  • "Research bamboo cutting boards, then pull keywords for the top 3 products, find Gold Suppliers with Trade Assurance, and check if the brand name BambooChef has any trademark conflicts"
  • "How is my tracked ASIN ranking this week? Which keywords dropped?"
  • "Check IP risks for these 5 brand name ideas: EcoSip, GreenPour, NatureSip, PureDrink, CleanCup"

The agent keeps context across the whole conversation. You don't repeat yourself, and it builds on what it already pulled.

Supported AI Apps

MCP works with any AI application that supports the Model Context Protocol.

  • Claude Desktop: Recommended. Connect instantly through the Connectors GUI — no config files needed.
  • claude.ai: Use Connectors to add Launch Fast directly in your browser. Works on desktop and mobile.
  • Claude Code: For developers who use Claude in the terminal. Uses API key authentication.
  • Cursor: AI code editor with MCP support. Uses API key authentication.
  • Windsurf: AI code editor with MCP support. Uses API key authentication.
  • Any other MCP client: If your app implements the MCP standard, it will work.
Don't see your app?

MCP is an open standard. If your AI app says it supports MCP or "tool use," it should work with Launch Fast. Check your app's documentation for how to add MCP servers.
