Installation

You can install theme either with Admin Panel or using FTP clients like FileZilla.

Using Admin dashboard

1. Log in to the WordPress Administration Panels.
2. Go to Appearance -> Themes.
3. Select Add New.
4. Then select Upload Theme.
5. Click Browse and locate greenturtle-mag.zip Theme in your computer.
6. Select greenturtle-mag.zip and click Install Now.

Using FTP

1. Unzip greenturtle-mag.zip to your Desktop.
2. Using an FTP client to access your host web server, go to /wp-content/themes/ and upload your new copy of Greenturtle Mag Theme.
3. Now, log into the WordPress Dashboard with your login details.
4. Select the Appearance panel, then Themes.
5. You will see the theme in the list.
6. Then click Activate button.
7. Now the theme will be activate and go through the following options to set up the theme step wise.

Activation

After successfully installing the Greenturtle Mag theme, you need to activate your theme. Follow given steps to activate the theme.

1. Select the Appearance panel, then Themes.
2. You will see the Greenturtle Mag theme in the list.
3. Click Activate button.
4. After clicking in activate button the theme will be activate.

Getting Started

Recommended Plugin

Theme supports some helpful WordPress plugins to enhance your site. Since, Page Builder by SiteOrigin is deeply integrated in the theme to achieve different layouts, please make sure both Page Builder by SiteOrigin and GTL Components plugins are installed and activated.

Demo content

First of all Make Sure recommended plugins are installed and activated.

1. Go to Tools > Import
2. Click Install wordpress > Then click Run Importer

3. Choose demo.xml file > Then click Upload file and import button.

Home Page Setup

To set a static front page we need to have a page which can be set as static front page. If you already have page then that’s fine otherwise follow the steps

1. Hover over the Pages menu.
2. You will seeAdd New under All Pages
3. Click Add New
4. You will be redirected to new page from.
5. Add title Home or any title you want.
6. Select Template as Front Page
7. Click publish.

Home Page Setting

1.From Customize section, go to Homepage Settings .
2.From Homepage Settings, You will be able to set any page as A Static page and you will find Your Latest Posts page option as well.

Logo & Site Title

1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Header Setting >Site name , tagline & Logo.

Header Settings

1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Greenturtle Mag Theme Options > Header Settings

Color Settings

1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Greenturtle Mag Theme Options > Color Settings

Sidebar Layout Settings

1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Greenturtle Mag Theme Options > Sidebar Layout Settings

Archive layout Settings

1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Greenturtle Mag Theme Options > Archive layout Settings

General Settings

1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Greenturtle Mag Theme Options > General Settings

Font Settings

1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Greenturtle Mag Theme Options > Font Settings

Footer Settings

1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Greenturtle Mag Theme Options > Footer Settings

1. Go to Appearance > widgets
2. Add the GTL Main Highlight widgets on Home Page Main Highlight Section

3. Add the Other Widgets as per your needs on Home Page Secondary Section
