Configure Tumblr<\/h1>\n

1. Create a Tumblr account & blog first<\/h2>\n

Alright, let’s begin the process. First things first, you’ll need to create a Tumblr account and set up your blog following these steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Go to the Tumblr website at www.tumblr.com<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Click on the “Get Started<\/strong>” button on the top right corner of the homepage.<\/li>\n
  3. Enter your email address, password, and username for your account.<\/li>\n
  4. Next, you’ll be asked to enter your age, as Tumblr has age restrictions.<\/li>\n
  5. After entering your age, click on the “Sign up<\/strong>” button.<\/li>\n
  6. Tumblr will then ask you to select some topics you’re interested in to personalize your dashboard. You can skip this step if you want to.<\/li>\n
  7. Once you’re signed in, you’ll see the Tumblr dashboard. Click on the “Account<\/strong>” icon on the top right corner of the page.<\/li>\n
  8. Select “New Blog<\/strong>” from the dropdown menu.<\/li>\n
  9. Choose a name for your blog and a custom domain name if you want one. You can also select a theme for your blog.<\/li>\n
  10. Click on the “Create Blog<\/strong>” button to create your Tumblr blog.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Once you’ve finished setting up your Tumblr account and blog, make sure to visit the Tumblr API page<\/strong><\/a> <\/span>by following this link: https:\/\/www.tumblr.com\/oauth\/apps<\/a><\/p>\n

    2. Register application<\/h2>\n

    To start creating your new app, click on the “Register application<\/strong>” button on the Tumblr API page.<\/p>\n

    3. Edit your application<\/h2>\n

    Make sure to fill out all the required fields, which are marked with a star symbol. Give your app a name and provide the website where you plan to use it.<\/p>\n

    4. Get Tumblr API Key<\/h2>\n

    Once you’ve entered all the required information and registered your app, you’ll receive your API keys: an OAuth consumer key<\/strong> and a secret key<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n
