Theme Installation

Via WordPress

• Log in to the WordPress Administration Panels.
• Go to the Appearance panel, then Themes.
• Click Add New.
• Search theme Education Way and click on Install and Activate.
• After installing the theme Click Activate button.

Via FTP

• Use your FTP software to browse to wp-content/themes folder.
• Extract education-way.zip and upload the folder.
• Once it’s uploaded, go to your WordPress Admin, browse to Appearance > Themes.
• Click the Activate link.

Dummy Data:

First, install all the recommended plugins. After that, you can get the options to Import Dummy Data under the Appearance menu on the admin panel.

Adding Contents

Posts

To create a post on your site, it’s easy. Follow the below-listed methods.

• Go to Administration Panels
• Go to Posts and Click on Add New
• Give the title of the post and add the content
• Set the featured image for the post from the right corner.
• Set that post in the Category.
• Click on Publish Button.

Add more post like the above methods.

Pages

To create a page on your site, it’s easy. Follow the below-listed methods.

• Go to Administration Panels
• Go to Page and Click on Add New
• Give the title of the page and add the content
• Set the featured image for the post from the right corner.
• Click on Publish Button.
• Add more page of the above methods.

Note: Check Screen options to enable excerpt field. The content of the excerpt field will appear on the home page. 

Categories

To create categories, follow the below steps.

• Go to Administration Panels
• Go to Posts > Categories
• Give the title of the category
• Click on Save
• The added category will appear on the Add Post Page.

Widgets

Education Way comes with Added Custom Widget for Featured Page, Services, About, Recent Post, etc.  You can use the available widgets and custom widgets on the available widget area. See the screenshot below to know about the custom widgets.

Theme Settings

Theme Options

Education Way has theme options inside Appearance > Customize.

Site Title, Tagline & Logo

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Site Identity
• Click on Select Logo
• Select the logo.
• If the preview is fine, click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

Top Header Info (Phone, Email)

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Top Header Info
• Check on Show button.
• Check all the available settings there.
• If the preview is fine, click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

Breadcrumb Option

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Breadcrumb Options
• Check all the available settings there.
• If the preview is fine, click on Save & Publish to save the changes
• Breadcrumb appears on inner pages.

Front Page Options

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Front Page Options
• Checked on hiding Blog Posts or Static Page on Front Page option to hide the front page content.
• If the preview is fine, click on Save & Publish to save the changes
• Check front page last section to know about the front page content.

Home Page Slider Setting Option

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Option > Slider Setting Option
• Check on Show button.
• Select the category for the slider. (Make sure, the category post have the featured image)
• Check all the available settings there.
• If the preview is fine, click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

Default Sidebar Layout

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Option > Default Sidebar Layout Options
• Available options are Left Sidebar, Right Sidebar & No Sidebar
• Choose your required layout.

Blog Archive Layout Options

This section includes the various options available on the theme for the Blog page.

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Layout/Design Option > Blog/Archive layout option.
• Check every option available on that section.
• Show descriptions from, exclude the category, read more text etc are the available options.
• Click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

Featured Image for Single Page

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Layout/Design Option > Featured Image Option for single page.
• Check on the show or hide for the featured image.
• Click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

Search Placeholder

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Option > Search
• Enter the search placeholder.
• Click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

Color Reset Options

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Option > Color Reset Options
• Select Reset All and Save & Publish the changes.
• Refresh the site to see the changes.
• Note: All the set color will reset to default, so think before to click this options.

Color Options

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Option > Color Option
• Select the required color for the section.
• Click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

Footer Options

Footer Options have the options to add the copyright text.

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Footer option > copyright.
• Enter your own copyright text.
• Click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

How to Make Home Page Like Demo?

Are you still confused about how to make your site as same as our demos? Please just follow the below procedure to make it. It’s simple to create the home page.

1. Install Theme Business Way 

• Go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Themes > Add New and search theme Business Way
• or Download the theme from Here.
• Click on Install and then Activate

2. Create Page for Home and Blog
You need at most two pages, one for Home and another for Blog, to make the demo. Please follow this below steps to
set home page.

• Go to admin panel > Pages > Add New
• Give the title of the page(Example: Home Page)
• Click on Publish to publish the page.
• Create another page(for Blog), follow the above page creation method.

3. Set Homepage and Blog page
Please set home page and blog page with the following procedure.

• Go to admin panel > Settings > Reading
• Click on “A static page (select below)”
• Set Front page: (Home Page recently created above)
• Posts page:(Blog you recently created)

4. Preview front page
Set the slider section enabled from the customizer. Check the above section to know how to enable slider via Appearance > Customize.

• Select the category from the drop-down.
• Check all available settings.

5. The section below the slider section
Are you wondering how to add the section below the featured section? It’s simple, please follow the below process:

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Widgets > Home Page Widget Area > Add a Widget
• Add the available widget (Example Business Way Service Widget ) on “Home Page Widget Area”
• Use the available options of the Widgets.
• You can add more available widgets there. You can change the position of Widget with Drag & Drop.
• View the home page, you will find the about section there.

You will get similar design and options for remaining other widgets as well. Check every widgets option.

How to visible Excerpt Section on Pages & Post? 

1. Go to Pages > Add new or Edit the page
2. View at the top, you will see the screen options
3. Click here and Checked on Excerpts
4. After that Excerpt will visible. Please scroll to down to see it.
