Immerse yourself in the world of visual storytelling with our Digital Design program, where creativity meets real world application. Whether you’re sketching, filming, advertising, or crafting digital experiences, you’ll gain hands-on expertise using the Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Ads, Google Ads, AI Software and industry grade camera gear. This program empowers you to shape perceptions, connect through design, and bring ideas to life while building a standout portfolio and digital marketing expertise that gets noticed.
As a student of this program, you will:
- Learn Adobe tools – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects
- Apply fundamental design principles, including color theory, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
- Execute photography and videography techniques using modern equipment and editing workflows
- Develop projects for web, social media, and digital platforms
- Learn how to use AI to increase your capacity to quickly produce content
- Build and launch a professional online portfolio to showcase your creative work
- Experience digital marketing platforms and ad creation with Meta and Google

The Digital Design Program provides a strong foundation in the diverse fields of a graphic designer. Students learn theory and experience hands-on application in the production of electronically generated media for print, television, film, websites, and mobile computing.
In the coursework, students design creative collateral for companies and/or clients. Course topics include graphic design, design principles, photography, image manipulation, illustration, desktop publishing, and motion design with skills in video production, animation, motion graphics, interactive design, small business marketing, and a final portfolio. Students will gain the skills necessary for entry-level employment in creative careers and learn industry practices, graphic design, illustration, photography, motion graphics & animation, and front-end web designs. Students work with the Adobe Creative Cloud software to develop literacy and production skills.
Attendance Standard: This program has a minimum attendance standard of 80%.

Testing Requirements
Each program has specific testing score requirements for admission. The scores are listed in the drop-down tabs below. You may be exempt from taking the Accuplacer Entrance Assessment if you provide proof of one or more of the following:
- Qualifying ACT or SAT scores (see drop-down tabs below)
- College coursework (MATH 900+ and ENGLISH 1000+) with a grade of B- or higher
- An Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree

Austin holds a degree in Marketing and Traditional Arts and has always had a deep passion for illustration. He is particularly enthusiastic about creating digital design pieces in a variety of styles, with an appreciation for adventure, surf, skate, and moto industries.

Noah Burt
Noah Burt is a seasoned digital designer with experience in graphic design, UI/UX and multimedia content creation. Outside the classroom, he enjoys golf, camping, and traveling with his wife and daughter, drawing inspiration from experiences to enrich his teaching and creative work.
