ShipFast Alternative: Shipped SaaS Biolerplate + Bonus

This article will be one of the shorter ones, as I will just say in it which SaaS Next.JS boilerplate is my favorite alternative to ShipFast. And I will briefly review it. So, here we go to my article:

The best ShipFast alternative that I know is definitely Shipped Club.

Unlike ShipFa.st, Shipped.club SaaS boilerplate offers some discounts for its users known as the Parity Purchasing Power feature. That means that if you are from a poorer country, you get a discount. For example, I’m from Slovakia, and I would get a 40% discount. It would be much cheaper for me than purchasing Shipfast, which doesn’t offer such option.

And in my opinion, this is one of the biggest advantages of this SaaS boilerplate. Because when you are starting an online business, you most likely have not much money to invest, and with Shipped.club you can keep your expenses at an even lower level. Which is great if you are just starting your new business.

Another thing worth mentioning is that with Shipped Club, you get both Stripe and Lemon Squeezy integration for the payments. This is the same with Shipfast. However, Shipped Club added the Stripe integration at the beginning of 2025. I would personally go with Lemon Squeezy. Which, in my opinion, is much better, because Lemon Squeezy handles international taxes (like, e.g., EU VAT) for you as well. Even if Lemon Squeezy is already owned by Stripe nowadays.

Also, the founder of Shipped is called Luca Restagno, and he is a SaaS solopreneur from Italy. Luca is a really friendly guy and has already launched more than 5 SaaS businesses. He has also sold some of them.

As for Shipfast, that is run by a French entrepreneur called Marc Lou. He is sharing his lifestyle on his Youtube channel and is running multiple SaaS businesses. For example, he is also running Codefa.st, a course for programmers to learn to code. If you are reading this article, I believe many of you already know Marc.

Bonus: Larafast

I wanted to mention at least one more Shipfast alternative in this article, so here we go. It is called Larafast, and as you can already guess from its name, it runs on Laravel. So in case you prefer to have your SaaS website run on Laravel instead of Next JS or WordPress, it might be an ideal option for you.

One small disadvantage of this startup boilerplate is that it is a little more expensive than Shipped Club.
