I've also stuck some Sellotape between my eyebrows to hopefully lessen my rather deep frown lines. I got the idea off YouTube and it appeared to have worked the next morning. And a lot cheaper than Botox!

No bathroom fitters this week - at all. They can't get the new bath till Thursday at the earliest. It sucks and I'm not happy with living with a skeleton bathroom for another week but it is what it is 🤷🏻‍♀️. It'll be finished before the end of the month let's put it that way...🤞🏻

🥱.

I want to give her a name but finding it hard to think of one that suits her 🤔 I'm leaning towards Suzanne...or maybe Emilia? I ordered two randoms from Wish (I know, I'm feeding the monster 🙄) so you don't know exactly which ones you'll get. I received one with light pink hair (the one in the pic) and the other had purple/silvery coloured hair. My daughter who was never in to dolls when she was little went crazy over them when she saw them so she has the other one now. I paid just £5 for the two. Some of the more detailed and flexible ones can be over £1,000!
The Bathroom Installation - Day 9: Disaster Strikes!

So first they couldn't get the pump to work and now *drum roll*....the tiles fell off around the window and chipped the new bath! 🙈 And just as I was typing this I heard something falling again in the bathroom and rushed in to see that one of the wooden poles that's being used as a wedge between the tiles around the top of the window and the ones on the sill had some how moved and fallen in to the bath! I'm not sure how it did that but I think I've secured it again pretty well so if it happens again then I'm calling an Exorcist! We often have odd things happen in this house. I've long felt there's a negative vibe and I've voiced it a few times to my husband who of course thinks it's nonsense.

Chips. And not the yummy kind.

So we're looking at a Thursday finish now when it should have been Monday. The only silver lining is that replacing the bath should mean that the pump problem will no longer be an issue.. And also we'll have the house to ourselves tomorrow as I don't cope well with having <s>strangers</s> trades people in the house.

Was the pole on the right.

I'd decided to go with someone new who apparently deals with "nervous drivers" but I wasn't really feeling it. She sounded a bit irritated after the third time of reminding me to check my mirrors - something I'll admit I'm bad at. But anway don't advertise the fact you're understanding with nervous drivers if you're not! Maybe I was too much for her! 😆 Anyway it was awful. I was too panicky (which I did warn her about in my email 🙄) I made stupid mistakes and I hated it. I couldn't wait for it to be over. I've just basically lost all my confidence on the road and I just think I'm not a driver. I don't think I'm meant to drive and I think I'm just not going to bother. Unfortunately that means not being able to move out in to the countryside like I'd wanted to. I'll be stuck having to live within walking distance of parents and a convienience shop. But hey, better than killing myself ot someone else. Out on the road I mean. I don't know....it's just all really disappointing. I have some not so intelliegent friends - one who didn't even know where America was on a map and who's life in general is an ongoing disaster - no matter how much I repeat advice but even she can drive! and has been for years. So why can't I??? 😩

Right so today I did Jillian Michaels - 30 Day shred. It's been gathering dust for some years in our dvd cupboard but I'm very much in a determined frame of mind of late so bring it on! Then I did my Carmen warm up after...should have been the other way round but it's all good.

I'm also attempting a keto diet. I had bacon, avocado, tomato and eggs for breakfast with only water to drink. Was feeling pretty pleased with myself until I did...

THIS ⬇

😔

because OH MY GOD did my body know it hadn't had carbs today! And I ordered a chocalate gateau from Iceland!, although I'm not sure it's edible anymore after finding Samuel almost head first in it yesterday 🙄. It's like I have a split personality - one eating healthily and downing pints of water and the other buying chocolate and sneaking mini cheddars upstairs. But that's it! That'll be the only carbs I have today. Because I WILL look like Alicia Vikander in Tomb Raider 💪

Felt like I was meant to read it.

Also I did more kettlebell today. Worked on my core this time. Threw in Carmen for an extra warm up. An hours worth of excercise all together. Feeling good.

To be more specific - actor biographies.

Top of the list being most recent.

Coreography by Corey Feldman (love that title)
Brave by Rose McGowan (thought provoking and inspirational)
A Life In Parts by Bryan Cranston
Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology (did not want this one to end. Has everything I want in a
book - cults and Hollywood tattle)
Scrappy Little Nobody by Anna Kendrick
Kiss Me Like A Stranger by Gene Wilder
There Was A Little Girl by Brooke Shields (another one I was sad to finish)
The Princess Diarist by Carrie Fisher (emotional when finishing this knowing it's her last book...but she saved the best till last)
Marilyn Monroe: Private and Undisclosed (picked this because it's supposed to be one of the more truthful accounts but I was still left without an essence of who Marilyn really was. Author seems much more concerned with places, names and dates)

Before these there's been rather a gap in my reading. I think I'd been feeling so down I'd even lost enthusiasm to read. I still prefer factual books over fiction these days to.

Other bio's I remember reading over the years are Michael J. Fox's Lucky Man (first I knew he had a problem with alcohol), Rob Lowe's Stories I only Tell My Friends (never answer the door to him in your pyjamas!) and Harrison Ford: Imperfect Hero by Garry Jenkins (wish I had the John Book cover though 🤤)

I'm struggling with what to read next - I've got so much stuff on my Amazon wish list. Final decision is between River Pheonix: Last Night at the Viper Room and You Couldn't Ignore Me If You Tried: The Brat Pack, John Hughes, and Their Impact on a Generation by Susannah Gora. Think I'll most probably go with the latter.....bit pricey though.

Anyway I have to finish this up now - school run in the morning - meh. Nite zzzzz.

Some of them I'll admit I quite enjoy like...
Ben and Holly - because of the snark between The Wise Old Elf and Nanny Plum.
Abney and Teal because I think Neep is cute.
My Little Pony! the new version, which at first I hated because of their new look but I find myself giggling at it with my daughter now. I bought her The My Little Pony Monopoly game for Christmas which we enjoy playing together.
Cannot stand Team Umi bleedin' Zoomi though or what ever it's called. You can tell it's American or Canadian but it's dubbed by the most wooden British Child voice actors and it's just excruciatingly painful to listen to. We talked through most of it as usual so that's why I always make sure I put on something I'm not really that bothered about seeing. It's good to have her input about raising boys as she has two of them and one daughter so she knows her stuff obviously and also nice to have a good moan with someone about the perils of pregnancy. I think she would have liked to have stayed up longer but 11:15 is the absolute limit for me. Not that I slept well having cramps again or mini contractions or whatever they are. Seemed like I waking up every five minutes to drink as my mouth felt like a budgie cage. I really do feel like I'm going to have this baby early....like in March.
