The Bathroom Installation - Day 9: Disaster Strikes!

So first they couldn't get the pump to work and now *drum roll*....the tiles fell off around the window and chipped the new bath! 🙈 And just as I was typing this I heard something falling again in the bathroom and rushed in to see that one of the wooden poles that's being used as a wedge between the tiles around the top of the window and the ones on the sill had some how moved and fallen in to the bath! I'm not sure how it did that but I think I've secured it again pretty well so if it happens again then I'm calling an Exorcist! We often have odd things happen in this house. I've long felt there's a negative vibe and I've voiced it a few times to my husband who of course thinks it's nonsense.

Chips. And not the yummy kind.


So we're looking at a Thursday finish now when it should have been Monday. The only silver lining is that replacing the bath should mean that the pump problem will no longer be an issue.. And also we'll have the house to ourselves tomorrow as I don't cope well with having strangers trades people in the house.
