After 5 years of reading some amazing zines and meeting some amazing people, I have decided that it is time for Smitten Kitten to come to an end. This may seem all very sudden but it is not a decision I have taken lightly. I will miss it all so much. Due to some major changes in my life combined with losing my sense of passion for the distro, I feel it is time to move on. I also want more time to dedicate to my own writing. I want to thank everybody who ever ordered from me, the zinesters in the catalogue over the years, and anyone who supported the distro.

So, what happens next? Well I am having a huge sale of the remaining stock, EVERYTHING IS HALF PRICE. I have adjusted the prices accordingly. Postage remains the same. For those ordering from overseas I will only accept Paypal. No US cash orders please. Australian orders payment methods remain the same.

THE SALE BEGINS NOVEMBER 1 AND ENDS NOVEMBER 10. GET IN QUICK. I WILL KEEP THE SITE AS UPDATED AS POSSIBLE WITH AVAILABLE STOCK. ANY ZINES LEFT OVER WILL BE RETURNED TO THE EDITOR OR DONATED. I WILL STILL HONOUR ANY POSTAL ORDERS RECEIVED AFTER THIS DATE AS LONG AS THEY ARE POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 10. ORDERS POSTAMARKED AFTER THAT DATE WILL BE RETURNED TO SENDER. As far as I go, I’ll still be reading zines and maybe I will still write another one someday. I will keep the Smitten Kitten domain and it will become more of a personal website.
