The End of the World

[]
Let's discuss the end of human civilization in this thread. How likely do you think it is to happen in the next 10 years?
[]
I think some kind of pluto-feudal society with miles of favelas dotted by gated communities is more likely.
[]
>>15588
if that happened it would be cool to be one of the underground people doing covert stuff to reclaim the dignity of the human race just like in videogames/books :purin:

[]
>How likely do you think it is to happen in the next 10 years?
Unless nuclear war starts or aliens show up to kill us not likely, but you never know.

[scroll]
>the end of human civilization
This made me think about the extinction of man, how it might occur. I think for civilization as we know it to end humans must go with it. It seems most species on Earth go extinct from either:
a. Hunted by predators/humans b. Ecosystem collapse (no plants so herbivores then carnivores die) c. Apocalypse like the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs and d. Habitat loss

I don't think humans will be hunted to death or out-competed by another species for food since we can just shoot the animals that try. Aliens could but that's more for scenario C.
Ecosystem collapse seems kinda plausible since ocean trash and oil spills etc. might do us in, like WALL-E but without a ship to run off into space with. However, this would need to be on a global scale since humanity occupies the whole globe (I know the term "human" is generous in some cases, but for simplicity's sake let's just call them human) and if all the food magically disappears from one country or even continent the rest of the world would launch a big humanitarian mission to feed people, such as in Africa.
An apocalypse seems unlikely but would definitely be the most exciting, if man were to go extinct at least make it fun! Just watch a movie for an idea: tsunamis, aliens, zombies, nuclear war, etc.
Finally there is habitat loss. Unless Earth becomes uninhabitable before being consumed by the sun this one is basically impossible since we can just build houses with air conditioning, heating, air filters or whatever would be needed to cope with a hostile environment.

All of this is to say that humans probably won't die out in the same way as animals since we can adapt to almost any environment and organize on a global scale to counter catastrophes and famines. Humanity's extinction will probably be caused by ourselves in a unique way. What that is can't really be predicted but if I had to guess it would be a very slow and boring decline as technology regresses, war kills even more people, charity and humanitarian efforts slow then cease, towns and cities become empty as the infrastructure cannot be maintained. Finally the last child of man is born and, some decades later, dies and takes humanity with it. This was mostly inspired by Threads and Girls Last Tour, they both left a strong impression on

ENF versus ENM

[]
I get ENF; the nude woman is (read:can be) a thing of beauty. Natural curves are human instinct, everyone wants to see her even if they find being exposed shameful. A woman is a revered object whose nude status is art.

I don't get ENM. That's just a naked dude. Bits and unkempt pubic hair hanging out everywhere. The nigga probably ought to be arrested and at least embarrased at showing his unwanted, commodified body. A naked nigga is whatever. Be naked. idgaf. Who cares?

Good things can Happen

[]
The first thing that happened was that today is oddly beautiful. The mountains in the valley were being lit by a cloudy sky, and the patches of shadow and light made the trees seem larger than usual. There was a little white girl with the cutest selling cookies and lemonade for 25 cents a piece. She was out there with her granddad and when she was serving me my three cookies and lemonade, she put her hands all over everything. She had a pair of tongs but gave up using them, instead using the hand that was holding her cheek in boredom to handle my food. She used her bare elbow to secure the serving napkin down against the wind.

Those cookies tasted really fucking good. I wound up eating half the napkin as well (´人`)

Anarchism, monarchy, minarchism

[]
I've been tending towards a philosophy I've learned is akin to anarcho-egoism for a while now. It's not about building a utopian anarchist state, but about realistically achieving the freedom that one can in one's present conditions. One should act according to one's own best interests to the best of their ability in accordance with their own moral compass. In some cases there may be laws stopping you from doing that (💢:kuma6:) but you may be able to evade those laws (a branch of anarcho-egoism called illegalism).

Now I used to believe that the government should in some capacity have to do with the welfare of the people, making sure they are fed and housed. Also that there are checks and balances on power. I liked the Nordic model of democracy, but now I question if that's really realistic long-term. It seems to me that powerful entities seek to gain more power and that this is just a law of nature. For example, despite the Constitution, the United States is effectively a crypto-dictatorship run by a criminal cartel (the CIA, NSA, Mossad, top military brass, childsex blackmail rings, corporations, etc.) which can plunder and exploit the peoples and resources within their sphere of influence. Could anything have prevented this?

If power will naturally concentrate into the hands of a ruthless few who will always take it by cunning or by force then perhaps it would be beneficial to outline honest and realistic expectations of government. Perhaps we had this figured out at the birth of the agricultural revolution, and it was monarchy.

The goals of the state should be only a few things

1. the maintenance and expansion of borders (i.e. to raise a military and make war)
2. the maintenance of order within those borders (policing)
3. the taxation necessary to maintain the two above goals

Now, I'm a NEET so naturally I like my NEETbux. But if I'm being honest, why is this the state's problem? Taking care of the poor and sick seems more like it would be the domain of the church rather than the state. If I were a king, I would task the church with using its donations responsibly as a social safety net, in return they will get protected status as the official religion and be tax-exempt. If the clergy becomes corrupt, I would hang them. "But what if the clergy bribed you?" someone will say. What if any rich person tried to bribe me? Well, they couldn't, because as king, I would be the richest person in the kingdom. That's another important aspect of this. If the king is th

>If the king is the richest and most powerful person already, corruption is redundant. He doesn't need underhanded tricks to gain more wealth and more power; everything belongs to the king already. It is then within the king's best interests to rule fairly so his power is never questioned.
Your nation wouldn't exist in a vacuum. There are other nations around yours who may have more land, more people, more resources, better technology, greater military might, etc. Your nation is also under constant threat of getting pwned by the other nations, diseases, natural disasters, civil wars, etc.

For these reasons, a monarch can never be "the richest and most powerful person" except perhaps within their own nation - they must constantly engage in diplomacy, trade, war, and so on with other nations to maintain their existence - nevermind expand it. Humans are cursed with discontent, so no status quo can last forever without anyone thinking "we need more"

There's also the reality that some people are just really stupid, lazy, and selfish - including monarchs. When a monarch is weak, they lose support and control, opening the door for a stronger power (either from within or outside the nation; and who may not hold your ideals) to instate themselves
[]
>>15573
It seems like you skimmed my post without really considering it. The #1 goal of the monarch I listed is the maintenance and expansion of the nation's borders, as in having a military.

As for the king being lazy, etc. Yes of course that will happen, and there would be consequences for that. As I said just a few sentences later

>It is then within the king's best interests to rule fairly so his power is never questioned.
[]
>It seems like you skimmed my post without really considering it.
NO U! I read your post in full, and the system you proposed relies on that one aspect being true: that a monarch is incorruptible if they are the wealthiest and most powerful person within their own nation. However, other nations exist, and so do constant threats to the monarchy's power and the nation itself - so there are always things that are needed and wanted, even putting the monarch's personal nature and abilities (e.g. benevolent/self-serving, long/short-sighted, active/lazy, etc.) aside

Instead of asking "what if any rich person tried to bribe me?", you should ask "what if a nation with things that I/my people need or want tried to bribe me? what if they invade my nation? what if I can prevent a war by making a few concessions?" - and suddenly the answer is not a clear-cut "well, they couldn't because I'm the richest person in my nation". Instead, you have an imperfect and corruptible system exactly like all the ones that actually exist(ed) because anyone who needs/wants anything will take measures to obtain it - and thus, you can't guarantee that your system would provide any more freedom than the ones that already exist(ed)
[]
>>15575
>what if they invade my nation?
But as I said, I already took that into account. The king's #1 priority is security. As I said

>The goals of the state should be only a few things

>1. the maintenance and expansion of borders (i.e. to raise a military and make war)
>2. the maintenance of order within those borders (policing)
>3. the taxation necessary to maintain the two above goals

Basically I'm saying that's almost ALL the king does. He exists just to maintain peace and lets people do whatever they please, as long as it does not threaten peace. Then I propose that there should be courts to maintain peace among citizens. I'm contrasting this with our modern conception of government, that it a) should have a role in everything and b) should be chosen by the people/have checks on power.

As far as the "perfection" of this system is concerned, I never used that term. If it were possible to have an anarchist utopia where everyone has everything they need and perhaps even everything they want, without anyone telling them what to do, then I would want that. That would be a perfect system. But that doesn't seem realistic to me. As far as I'm concerned, I'm happy to live in a liberal democracy because I can be a NEET. But if I wasn't a NEET, and if I was a functioning, normal person, what I would want is a government that just stays out of my way and deals with the minimum of what a government must - which is the security of a nation. To stop invasions from foreigners and halt internal strife. It's a "perfect" system insofar as it doesn't seek to solve every problem in the world - it's realism. Realistically there will be monarchs who are stupid or lazy but again, I account for this, saying

>It is then within the king's best interests to rule fairly so his power is never questioned.
>Thus a wise king would always give his citizens a means to address grievances, regardless of their class.
>again, a wise king who wishes to maintain law and order would not flaunt his ability to the extent that it creates too much discontent and results in a challenge to his power.

And basically the question I am asking is, how is this any different from what we have? This is just transparent. Instead of a conglomerate of corporate, military and intelligence leaders ruling from behind a curtain of democracy, I propose open and transparent authority.

As my history teacher told me "democracy is the worst system of government - except for all the others." Well, that was said a while ago. It was in that era where people still believed we had reached "the end of history" - that liberal democracy would continue to flourish and grow more robust. We now see that isn't the case. So I now question if liberal democracy was ever realistic. Remember the premise that I started with:

>If power will naturally concentrate into the hands of a ruthless few

If this is the case, then there isn't a "perfect" system of government - we can only do our best to mitigate the consequences of this natural law. And if liberal democracy was not the best we could do, might this be it? That's all I'm proposing.

Wowee, you do what you want? So does pretty much everyone else. There are only a few speds out there who think they need to follow the law to a tee but still wind up breaking some laws by accident. Stop with the boutique political designations. It's gay. Anyways what have you done to support your beliefs? What about supporting others?

the tb conspiracy

[]

I think the deep state is silencing certain people by planting obscene amounts of CP on their premises and arresting them later. This works well to silence dissenters and also not create martyrs because most people aren’t going to want to support someone who has THAT much child porn. Plus when they’re in prison they can kill them under the pretense of “other prisoners taking action”. I mean we know the deep state isn’t beyond killing people in prison after labeling them pedos. Of course this can get murky. How does one differentiate actual pedophiles from people who have been planted.

This is what I have dubbed the terabyte conspiracy. Look most people watch porn, consume hentai, etc. but they’re not going to be consuming that much. Even if you downloaded EVERYTHING you watched, read, looked at, etc. it would rarely take up more than 200 GBs at the very most. So the easiest way to tell the difference between a genuine pedo and a planted victim, is that they’re busted with comically large amount of CP. more than any reasonable person could ever fap to in their lifetime. And don’t give me that bullshit of “distribution” because even then it makes no fucking sense. How did the unemployed guy who lives with his mom who can barely work a laptop manage to get 100 TBs of CP? Well now you know. The thing is they don’t know how to make something look realistic. It’s the 6 million shit all over again. They inflate the numbers without putting thought into it. Then when you start looking in it all falls apart.

Keep an eye on this in the future. You will be seeing deep state rivals be busted with comically large terabytes of CP in the future to silence them. Discern it, and make the call with this in mind.

Denny Sanford spoke out against the covid mask shit and PPP loans, they hit him with it

Also MouthyBuddha made documentaries about pizza gate and got swatted and the police "found" a laptop with CP on it but charges didnt stick because they couldn't prove it was his

Porn is Useless

[]
I don't have a reason to look at porn anymore. I don't use it to fantasize about the future because I don't think anything in it is in my future, and if I'm not thinking about the future I'm thinking about the past, which is also painful because it's a collection of wasted time and opportunities. What is fantasy if it isn't part of a vision of a better future. It's a distraction, and the distraction broke down for me.

Saying "porn is purely fantasy" is a lie; everyone has a sexual part of them and they connect (or bootstrap) that part of their imagination to the real world through arousal. In other words, everyone has a scenario they would never turn down if it presented itself IRL. People say that to excuse themselves from the moral compunctions of being into whatever they are into.

This is exactly why I like little girls. A little girl is pure of heart enough to love a damaged creature like me. :depression: The Welcome to the NHK light novel explains the lolita complex this way:

>"Well, you know. . . I mean, the characters in the games are a bit too young; like, the heroines all appear to be no more than elementary school children. . . "

>"Ha! What are you saying now, Satou? This isn't like you. To start with, the heroines of erotic games are no more than fictional characters, drawn with two-dimensional computer graphics. In order to express innocence, purity, and femininity, there's no personification more appropriate than a little girl, is there? We're relaxed by the symbol of the little girl. And when they're 2D characters, they have no chance of dealing any blows to our fragile emotional state. On top of that, the motif becomes that of the weakest character possible in social, physical, and emotional senses—the little girl. Because of that double safety lock, we are protected from being hurt, and we can escape the fear of being rejected. That is to say, this is the true meaning of moe: ideal, young, innocent femininity. Do you understand? You do understand, don't you?"
