Welcome to Dirty Code's Privacy and Cookie Policy. This Policy explains how Dirty Code (“Dirty Code” or “we” or “us”) processes and puts you in control of your Personal Data. When we talk about processing Personal Data, we mean how we collect, use, share, and retain Personal Data. This policy covers these activities across all of our services (“Services” or “Dirty Code Services”).
This policy covers the following Dirty Code Services:

- And features such as Private Messaging.
Our Commitment to Privacy. As a global social networking site, the Dirty Code Site allows you to share sensitive information about yourself, including your sexual orientation and precise location, with us, the service providers who assist in the running of our services, and other Dirty Code users. It's our goal to put you in control of as much of the personal data you share with the Dirty Code Services as possible. We recommend you read this Privacy and Cookie Policy, and our Terms and Conditions, carefully. From time-to-time within the Dirty Code Services, you will see pop-up privacy notices meant to help you understand what you are participating in when you opt-in to certain features or services.
PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT - WHERE, WHEN, AND HOW
When you use the Dirty Code Services, we collect Personal Data about you. At Dirty Code, “Personal Data” means any information that allows someone to identify you directly. You choose to provide the majority of this data. We may collect data about your interactions, use, and experiences with our services and receive information from third parties.
- Personal Data You Are Required to Provide. When you set up an account, we require that you provide limited Personal Data
- Account Credentials. In order to use the Dirty Code Services, you are required to provide an Account Authentication Mechanism (email) including for authentication and/or verification purposes. We may collect government issued identification, postal address, signature, and phone number to assist with account authentication, to validate access requests, or receive some form of refund/payment from Dirty Code.
- Personal Data You Have the Option to Provide. You have a choice when providing your community profile information.
- Community Profile Information. When you create a Dirty Code account, you choose to provide us Personal Data about yourself for your public Dirty Code profile. For example, you may voluntarily provide your Personal Data, such as your photo, display name, physical characteristics, characteristics of protected information, relationship status, ethnicity, age or date of birth, gender, preferred pronouns, email address, height, weight, body type, position, and any other information that you add to your profile on the Dirty Code Site (“Profile Information”). The Dirty Code Site is a social networking platform that is designed to allow users to connect and share information. When you use the Dirty Code Services, your Community Profile Information is public, meaning other users of the Dirty Code Site can see your Profile Information and other Personal Data (including sensitive personal data) posted by you. For example, other users can search for you, search for your profile characteristics, see if you've viewed their profile, or see you listed as being within their vicinity. Do not include information in your profile that you want to keep private. While the Dirty Code Site permits you to make certain items (e.g., Profile Information, preferences, or other information) non-public, sophisticated users who use the Dirty Code Site in an unauthorized manner may be able to obtain this information and may be able to determine your identity. You should carefully consider what Personal Data to include in your Community Profile, and you can review and change that information at any time by accessing the “My Profile” or “Settings” section of the Site.
- Feedback/Support. If you provide us feedback or contact customer support, we collect your name and email address and possibly other Personal Data (e.g. IP address), as well as any other content that you send to us in order to reply and address any issue. We may keep records of our communication with you, including any complaints we receive from you about other users (and from other users about you).
- Photos. We may collect visual, or similar information. If you upload a photo, while using the Dirty Code Services, you will be required to permit Dirty Code to access your photo gallery.
- Location and Distance Information. We may collect your precise location ("Location") to determine your distance from other users (“Distance Information”).
When you send a message to other users using the Dirty Code Services (which could include content such as photos, location, audio, video, emoji, etc.), we may collect Personal Data that includes the content of the message. If you send messages, you will be providing Dirty Code with your Personal Data as well as the user who views your message. Please don't send messages or share content that you wouldn't want someone to save or share as users may save content or copy it outside the Dirty Code Services. Do not share your Account Credentials.
- Personal Data We Automatically Receive From Your Device When You Use Dirty Code Services. To keep the services running and to improve services, we collect:
- User Activity. We collect certain Personal Data that is generated through your use of the Dirty Code Services. This Personal Data includes, among other things, information about whose user profiles you have viewed, products and services you have purchased through the Dirty Code Services, how you've interacted with the Dirty Code Site, and how you communicate with other users.
- Hardware and Software Information. We collect certain hardware and software information about you such as data connection type, browser type, operating system, IP address, domain name, date/time stamp for your visit and crashes. All of the foregoing is collectively known as “Hardware and Software Information”.
- Cookies, Log Files, and Other Tracking Technologies. We use cookies, internal web storage and URL information to gather information regarding the date and time of your visit and your searches. If you choose to disable cookies, some features of the Dirty Code Services may not work as expected. - Personal Data We Automatically Receive From Third Parties. Dirty Code collects limited information from third parties. For example, we may collect Personal Data from payment processors, and partners, app usage and website tracking information, authentication partners, etc.
- Permissible Age. The Dirty Code Services are intended only for users who are legal adults, generally eighteen (18) years of age and older. If you are aware that a child or minor has submitted Personal Data on the Dirty Code Services, please contact us using the information provided below, or using a reporting tool, so that we can take appropriate action.
WHAT WE DO WITH YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We generally use your Personal Data to enable the Dirty Code Services, such as the following purposes:
- Provide you with services and products associated with Dirty Code accounts to maintain, improve, and develop Services.
- Provide safety and security features.
- Communicate with you to provide updates, service-related notifications, and promotions.
- Respond to user inquiries, complaints, and to provide customer service.
- Process your purchases and transactions.
- Conduct partner promotions.
- Comply with valid legal requests and address legal issues and disputes.
- Investigate and respond to suspected illegal activities or fraud.
- Access your photo roll to allow you to share with other users.
- Create and administer surveys and conduct research.
- For Automated Decision Making - for example, to detect and remove spammers, detect and remove non-compliant images, etc. through artificial intelligence.
- In addition to this, we work with advertisements, which require information or personal data from users.
HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES
Dirty Code may share information we have about you for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy to assist us in providing the services you have requested. The majority of the sharing occurs between you and other users, but we also share with third parties such as Service Providers who work on Dirty Code's behalf, Ad Partners, and when required, by law. - Other Users. Dirty Code provides a safe space where you can discover, navigate, and interact with others in the Dirty Code Community. Your profile data and distance information is also shared with the Dirty Code Community.
- Service Providers. Partners who assist Dirty Code with providing our services such as with crash reporting, payment and business transaction systems, website and app tracking and reporting tools, internal support tools (bug reporting, customer support systems, app ratings reporting, etc.).
- Your Consent. Where you've given your consent for other disclosures, features, or services provided by Dirty Code.
- Legal Obligations. We may access, preserve and disclose information to investigate, prevent, or take action in connection with: (I) legal process and legal requests; (II) enforcement of the Dirty Code Terms of Service ; (III) claims that any content violates the rights of third-parties; (IV) requests for customer service; (V) technical issues; (VI) protecting the rights, property or personal safety of Dirty Code, its users or the public; (VII) establishing or exercising our legal rights or defending against legal claims; or (VIII) as otherwise required by law.
HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We retain your Personal Data for no longer than is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the information was collected or as otherwise permitted or required by applicable law or pursuant to Dirty Code Terms of Service or Dirty Code Community Guidelines. Personal Data may be retained for longer periods of time if required for legal or security purposes. For example, Dirty Code may retain some account information, a Dirty Code-generated device identifier, and limited log information for accounts that have been banned or that violate the Dirty Code Terms of Service and/or Community Guidelines. In some circumstances, Dirty Code may also retain chat messages used for reporting violative behavior resulting in an account's ban.
YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
You can make the following choices and exercise your rights regarding your Personal Data held by Dirty Code:
- Correct Profile Information. By creating an account, you are providing us Personal Data about yourself in your public Dirty Code Community Profile. You can review and change your Community Profile Information at any time by accessing the “settings” section of the site. Delete Account and Related Information. You may delete your account and related information at any time. There are some scenarios where some or all of your information may be held after your request (such as for tax and accounting purposes, moderation review, dispute resolution, and other legal matters). In case you want to delete all the information related to your account, you can request it through an express email to info@dirtycode.io.
- Promotional Emails. You may choose during the registration process to allow us to use your email address to send free newsletters, surveys, offers, and other promotional materials related to Dirty Code and/or the Dirty Code Services, as well as targeted offers from third parties. You can stop receiving promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in emails that you receive. If you unsubscribe from receiving such promotional emails, we may still send you service-related communications, and our applications will continue to deliver you in-app messages.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA
At Dirty Code, we take the privacy and security of your Personal Data seriously. We have a dedicated data security team that actively works to monitor the integrity and safety of the Dirty Code Services. We have policies and protocols in place to help protect Personal Data. We consistently strive to improve our defenses in the ongoing battle against bad actors. That said, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is fully secure, and Dirty Code cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Data. In the event that we are required by law to inform you of any unauthorized access to your Personal Data, we may notify you electronically or in writing in accordance with applicable law.
