When students dance, learn to stand up to bullies, create art, or practice de-stressing strategies, they’re not just having fun, they’re building life skills. Seeing that joy and confidence on a child’s face tells me I’m in the right place at the right time.

With a background in psychotherapy and published articles in magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Working Woman, and Women’s Day, I bring both creativity and real-world expertise to my programs. I’ve led workshops for adults and families internationally and have been a trusted provider in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools’ After School Enrichment Program for over 20 years. Every two years, my programs are reviewed, and my contract has been consistently renewed — most recently through 2027.

Salsa Line Dance and Latin Fusion

Everyone loves the energy of Latin rhythms — salsa with a little cha-cha and Bachata in the mix. No partners required, just the joy of moving together to vibrant Latin beats and popular tunes.

As we dance, students build cardio fitness, flexibility, coordination, and musicality. It’s exercise that feels like a celebration.

Just as important, this program opens the door to cultural learning.

Plenty of room for everyone to dance. No carpeting, please.

It’s best if participants wear supportive shoes.

Fees / Ticketing:

$168 per class. If a second (or more) class on the same day at the same location is requested, the fee drops to $145 for each additional class.

If the venue is over 15 miles from Charlotte, there is a surcharge of $.50 for each additional mile.
