About
Yizack Rangel, known as Dimatis, is a Panamanian electronic music producer, born and raised in La Chorrera, Panama on June 15th, 1998. He began producing music in 2013 at the age of 15, and by 2014, he launched the Dimatis project.
Dimatis significantly impacted the Melodic Dubstep and Chillstep communities by combining these two genres into a unique style that characterizes him from others. In 2019 he released his first EP Floating, featuring two of his most popular tracks, Mists and What Awaits Us. In 2020, he followed up with his first full-length album, Experiences in which his song Overcoming gained viral attention in France and became widely used in vlogs and social media content.
Between 2020 and 2021, he collaborated with several talented vocalists, including Elvya, Miss Lina, Salvo producing standout songs like Out There, Fly Again, Paying For It.
In 2024, Dimatis consistently released new music, including standout collaborations such as The Songs of Yesterday and To Stand Again, both released on Jade City Records, featuring vocals from Sydney Grimm and Calmseer. He also performed at the Magefest 2024 Online Festival hosted by Mox Jade.
Throughout the years, he has achieved millions of streams and embraced other styles, such as Future Garage, Liquid DnB, Future Bass. His music has been featured on YouTube channels like AirwaveMusicTV, OnlyChillstep, La Musique Libre, MixHound, HearWeGo.
His mission is to share his music with the world by providing beautiful emotions through the melodies of his songs and one day be recognized for his music.
Artists who inspire him are: Au5, Blackmill, Chime, CMA, Collin McLoughlin, Crystal Skies, ILLENIUM, Jason Ross, Said The Sky, Seven Lions, Skrux, Tim Schaufert, Xeuphoria, Xilent, among many others.

I created this video 5 years ago, it's a compilation of short recordings of me playing melodies from some of my tracks, but I never posted it here because back then I was afraid to admit that me as a music producer I don't know how to play an instrument well, I practiced my own written melodies a lot to make this video. I'm still not good with the keyboard but I just wanted to share the video now 😄

Hey friends 👋❤️ This is my first ever cover remix. It's finally out, and it was so hard to keep it a secret.
When I first heard the original song back in April this year, I visually loved the Spirit Blossom event, the vocals immediately reminded me of HYLIA (@hyliamusicofficial), and I knew I had to ask her to collaborate with me on this cover remix.
For this version, I recreated the intro section from scratch and transitioned it into melodic dubstep drops.
I've always been a huge fan of League of Legends, it was a big part of my adolescence, and even today I still play sometimes, so being able to release this cover feels great. ✨❤️

Hey there! A new track is coming out soon in a few days on November 14th! 🙏
The idea for this track dates back to 2021, a little over 4 years ago. Initially, I wasn't satisfied with the idea (maybe because it doesn't carry as much personal emotional weight as other tracks I've made, or quality-wise it isn't the best), but recently I decided to give it another shot!
It is exciting sometimes to revisit old ideas! Never discard an idea forever, there might be someone out there eager to listen to them. Even if it's not perfect for you, it could be the perfect song for someone else.
For some reason, I visualize this track surrounded by greenery, which is why I decided to name it "Esmeralda", the Spanish word for "Emerald". 💚☘️🍃

I share in advance my upcoming track "Framboise", it is a soft Chill Drum & Bass track made with a 3/4 time signature, I love DnB and I tried to fit a DnB-type rhythm into a waltz beat, and this is what I got. Why 3/4? For me, it's the perfect time signature for expressing beauty through emotions in melodies. 🍓
The word "Framboise" is the french for "Raspberry", I've always liked its taste and it's one of my favorite flavors, especially in iced tea and lemonades but can also enjoy sweet cakes :) I've found myself enjoying anything with raspberries during some of the best moments in my life so why not use it as a song name ❤️

Hello!!! I'm happy to present my first track of 2025, "Reverie". This track has a classic "Dimatis" structure and vibes. I also want to apologize for these three months without new music and being quiet. I've been through a period of demotivation due to IRL work-related struggles. I won't go into too much detail because my music is always about positivism, but I decided to return to what I feel proud of.

Hello! On November 15th I'm releasing "Detach" 💜. Currently, I'm going through so many life changes, and in this song I tried to express the intense feelings that come with major life changes. Even when some of these are positive, too many sudden changes can feel overwhelming. I wanted this track to express the difficult decisions we make, the things we leave behind, and the chaotic thoughts that sometimes happen inside our minds, that's why there's a slow start, then it goes faster and ends up with a calm resolution 🌌

I'm back with more Melodic Chillstep! This is the work in progress for next month's release, this track is called "Choices". The speech lyrics of this track come from a quote from a quest in one of my favorite games ever called Runescape, I liked what it says and how deep it is so I wanted to make a song highlighting this phrase, the voice isn't from the game, just the phrase but I thought it would fit well :)

Who wouldn't want to travel back or forward in time? I have the pleasure to bring you another song with Elvya (@elvyadulcimer) this time with a time traveler theme, get ready to be delighted with a chill-type beat using sparkly and enveloping sounds that we could probably hear during a time teleportation while everything stops around you 💫. I came up with the instrumental of this song as an idea of mine almost 3 years ago but the result never convinced me so I never released it until talking to Elvya I showed her the demo and she added that magic missing, Now it comes alive thanks to her amazing vocals as always 💜.
