The DigiDL app provides you with access to the digital driver’s license (DDL) portal for the pilot program being conducted by Gemalto, NIST and your state’s department of motor vehicles. Once downloaded, you can follow the steps in your activation letter from the DMV to receive your DDL, and use the app to access your DDL for usage during the pilot. The DigiDL application is currently not intended for use as a universally accepted form of identification. The DigiDL application is intended for use by individuals participating in the pilot project.
