Book: Columbine by Dave Cullen.
Start: 01/04/10 - 02/02/10 :End

I'm in love with people who can read novels and still have time for internet. I consider them intellectuals and hope that I would become one if I could read a book with no pictures. So, I tried to take on the 100 Books in a year challenge. I failed. I tried reading Different Seasons by Stephen King and Interview With the Vampire by Anne Rice. I failed. I would read only two pages of Different Seasons and only 5 pages of Interview. So when 2009 ended I just made it a goal to read more books, from front to back. I would become disappointed in myself if I didn't. I decided to start slow, just read one book. If I could do that I would go on to the next book.

Harcourt Brace

"To the Marxists and the police
To the junkies in the streets
To the gangsters in our towns
And the others underground
To the prostitutes and whores
To the self-admiring bores
To the drinkers in a drought
And the writers steeped in doubt
To the bailiffs and their bills
To the child whose thoughts could kill
To the veteran who fights
All his demons late at night
To the bloody and unbowed
Fanatics and their vows
All the taxes we don't want
To the idiot savant

There's a revolution in my heart"

-Ed Harcourt "Revolution In The Heart"

Leaf
"Find a good sized leaf, tie a leash around it, and take it for walks. If someone asks you what the hell you're doing simply say... 'I'm showing this this leaf there's more to life than lying on the ground waiting for your friends to fall.'" -Solon Bixler
