I can't believe what I did yesterday night. I am still in a roosh but it feels so damn good what I have done. It is truly unbelievable.

The last few months I started to dislike going to work. I felt like I was the only one deticated enough to make something out of the business.

I work in a lunchroom and my boss and collega's aren't the most.. well how should I put it.. deticated it thats the words people.
I did my job even better then good everyone could see it. Customers, friends but my collega's and boss didn't see it.

I kept working my ass off because I thought it made me feel better but it kept slowly eating me up inside.
Last night we had a big fair with a performance of a band.. it was really busy and I had already fallen out on being the only one who actually wants to work.. And my boss still doesn't agree with me because we ''all'' wor hard.

Everything went smoothly last night.. I got lots of compliments from people and such.. unbelievable many. And afterwards when we were drinking something I dropped the bomb.
''I QUIT''.. Everyone was quite in shock except my boss...she already saw it coming.

She was complaining about herself working so hard.. really not. I am the only person who was working hard.. And I got many people saying it so I think I can say it for myself. :)

And I don't regret it even one second. Okay I feel pitty for her.. but the feeling and relief is so overwhelming I know I made the right decision.

I'm so happy right now.
I got so many projects to do I don't have any spare time left to do some fanart and such.
That is probably the positive effect of living in a village.. I am designing a few carts for a clothing store for children. Menu's for my current work. Making t-shirts for some friends...

And more and more is streaming in everyday.
I also heard from my school today and I got signed in. *Mediacollege Amsterdam here I come. ::::)))))

I am so uber excited and so happy. And my drivers lessons are also going steadily great. Took the highway last week for the first time and I loved driving at 120km/ph (Although I went 140 for a small time.. :))

Only reason why I could fail my drivers exam could be exceeding the speed limit. lol

Here is my entry a wallpaper featuring Angelina Jolie (Although she is unrecognizable(sp?))

Title: City Blues
Colours: Back,red,grey and white.
Resources:inxsomniax, my own

Emotion,feeling etc. :
This picture shows a woman who hides in the city. She lost everything and is in blues because of it. The picture of her in black and white potrays how she feels, the black takes over but there is still hope(white).

The multiply lines show roads, paths she can follow in her attempt to hide. But does she want to hide? She looks back to the black to see if everything is really that bad. It also shows her hesitation to choose a path.

Her damaged grung like coat shows the pain and suffering she has witnessed.
The white line is more to shows her face more clear but can also be seen as a small line of hope she tries to find before choosing a path.

Why the title City Blues, there is nothing blue?
Well not everything is what it seems. I tried to potray it in this artpiece. Often people are misguided or betrayed because it didn´t turn out to be as they thought it was. Thats why I put the title ´´city blues´´ showing her in sorrow and pain but also showing that not everything is what it seems.

Thanks to the amazing inxsomniax.

I was way too lazy to make my owb background. I just don't feel good enough to make anything.
I don't know where I'm suffering from, it seems to be a stomach flu. Well lets just hope it isn't the bird flu, as far as I know I wasn't in contact with any birds so I presume I'm safe.

The rest of the day was really boring. Cleaned the house, played Silent Hill and catched up on the soon to be released movie of it.

I made my first set of icon brushes.

Tutorial;

Ok we start with our base. I am using this one of the lovely Rose Mcgowan.

As you can see I added a black line on the right. You need to have some dark spot on the icon or dark colours to get the best result.

1. Add a new layer and fill it with white.
2. Add another layer and past one of the brushes from the brush set on it.
3. Add a new layer again and fill it with an gradient (Any colours work, try to play around for different results)
4. Put the gradient to one of these settings; color, soft light, overlay, linear burn, color burn, multiply or darken.
5. Merge the white layer, brush layer and the gradient layer to one layer.

Like the picture here. (Also shows how I have my layers for the other steps if there is something you don't understand)

6. After Merging all layers put it to either; lighten, screen or color dodge.
7. Add more effects, text of your choice and your icon should come out as something like this.

I hope everything is understandable and not too quick. I made this tutorial in a matter of minutes due to being in a hurry.
Hope you can use the brushes.

Well I made my first Brush set.
I was always looking for those nice line brushes but couldn't find some that I liked.
So I made them myself.

I hope you can also use them.

If you use these brushes then please let me know.
I haven't had time to use them yet.
The set contains both small and big swirls for both icons and wallpapers etc..
Credit (deztripping) would be greatly appreciated but isn't necessary.
