To enhance the replicability and scalability of DEXPLORE results, the consortium will strengthen the Advisory Board throughout the project by integrating members from EU strategic partnerships dedicated to a resilient and sustainable supply of raw materials, involving both EU and non-EU stakeholders.

Agustín Arroqui Langer
Geologist & Industrial Minerals Specialist
Agustín is Managing Director at Landed Argentina and Professor of Geology, Petrology, and Remote Sensing at the Institute of Mining Research (National University of San Juan). He specializes in the exploration, characterization, and sustainable development of industrial minerals including carbonate rocks, magnesium and phosphorus source minerals, gypsum, sylvite, mineral and industrial sands, and aluminous clays.
Over his career, he has bridged academia, industry, and investors to accelerate de-risked projects across South America. He holds a PhD in Geological Sciences and has a strong track record guiding multidisciplinary teams from target generation through development pathways.
Agustín joins the DEXPLORE Advisory Board to inject cutting-edge technical insight and market-driven decision support across the industrial minerals value chain.

Ariana Carrazana Di Lucia
PhD Geologist & Mining Innovation Leader
Ariana is CEO & Director at MiningiDEAS (Spain) and Non-Executive Director at Apron Group (Chile), with 20+ years spanning exploration and operations. Her expertise covers QA/QC leadership, digital transformation, and operational excellence across gold, porphyries, epithermal veins, SEDEX, VMS, and IOCG in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. She previously held senior roles at Las Bambas (MMG) and Minera Alumbrera (Xstrata/Glencore), delivering performance at scale in complex assets. Ariana holds a PhD in Earth Sciences and advanced training in tailings management, geometallurgy, and executive leadership. She brings to DEXPLORE a rare blend of technical rigour and change leadership to fast-track adoption of best-in-class practices across the project portfolio.

Bouba Cissoko
Chief Executive Officer, South Rivers Mining
Bouba Cissoko is Founder and CEO of South Rivers Mining, a mining and metallurgy company developing integrated and circular mining and metallurgical projects focused on the sustainable valorisation of critical raw materials. He also serves as CEO of Operanka Associates. He has an engineering background and holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris.
With over 25 years of experience in structuring complex projects, he brings strong expertise in strategic consulting, programme leadership, go-to-market execution and operational delivery, bridging strategy with concrete implementation. He has held senior leadership roles on large-scale programmes involving operational reorganisation, risk management and performance optimisation. His work centres on aligning innovation with industrial feasibility and governance, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, circular value chains and long-term value creation across Europe and West Africa.

Ana Arifović
Geologist & Project Coordination Specialist
Ana is a geologist with 17+ years managing technical, administrative, and logistical dimensions of exploration and development projects in Serbia. She currently leads a multidisciplinary lithium-borate exploration team, coordinating with public institutions, ensuring compliance with national regulation and donor requirements, and reporting on EU-funded components. Her core strengths include end-to-end project coordination, procurement support, stakeholder engagement, and data/financial reporting aligned with EU standards. Proficient in MS Office and geospatial tools, she is known for transparent implementation, institutional capacity building, and delivery discipline. Ana strengthens the DEXPLORE Advisory Board with hands-on execution excellence in EU-compliant programmes and sustainable resource development.

Jari Joutsenvaara
Development Manager & Doctoral Researcher, University of Oulu
Jari is Development Manager at the University of Oulu with 20+ years across particle/nuclear physics, mine-site reuse, and underground infrastructure development. He coordinates the Horizon Europe AGEMERA project and leads sustainability initiatives in the mineral sector, aligning research, infrastructures, and policy. Jari coordinates the University of Oulu’s Raw Material Value Chain Forum, represents the university at the ETP for Sustainable Mineral Resources (ETP-SMR), and contributes to the ESMIN network; regionally, he serves as S3P Mining Regions representative and EU-policy Working Group lead. His doctoral research focuses on innovations, regional development, raw-material policies, and social acceptance across sustainable value chains. He contributes to DEXPLORE a strategic interface between cutting-edge R&D, multi-actor collaboration, and EU policy ecosystems.
