Inspiration
We're starving college students who need an easy way to identify highly-rated recipes based on primary ingredients.
What it does
The program receives a primary ingredient and returns a list of recipes. Choosing a recipe from there returns an instructional YouTube video for the recipe.
How we built it
Python for the backend. HTML/CSS/Javascript for the frontend. Incorporated YouTube's Data API and MealDB's API.
Challenges we ran into
- Starting.
- Establishing the connection between the backend and frontend.
- Not enough time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Got the backend working.
What we learned
- How to utilize Git and GitHub, Node.js, etc.
