Inspiration
To make payments fun, social and rewarding.
What it does
It gamify's and rewards loyalty, community and participation.
How I built it
We used Ionic Framework to provide the app to both Android and IOS. Using html, css and javascript to create the app, httpget to receive information from the web service created with python and a graph database to house the data.
Challenges I ran into
fitting the data, API and app together.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Finally fitting the pieces together into the framework of what we have in mind.
What I learned
I learned how to produce hybrid apps using Ionic and the possibilities of using graph databases compared to normal databases.
What's next for YoyoPlay
We plan to add more competitive functionalities to it and to complete the UI to make it more appealing. It can be added on to any mobile payment service which includes a reward system and in the future turn it into a plugin that any service can use.
