Inspiration

2/3 of our team were new to Solana, and we were eager to learn not only the syntax but fundamentals of blockchains and Solana.

What it does

Xplore is a blockchain explorer that allows you to search for accounts, transactions and blocks. It is basically a way to get readable data from the blockchain.

How we built it

We built it with NextJS and typescript, connecting to web3js public RPC and coinGhecko as an oracle.

Challenges we ran into

Trying to connect to web3js, and the technical terms as most of us had no Solana experience.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Coming together as a team and building the project. Also learning about Solana

What we learned

We learned about technical terms such as epochs, block times etc.

What's next for Xplore - Solana Explorer

To host on Vercel and allow other chains.
