Inspiration
We embarked in this project because of the upcoming 2024 Worldcup in Qatar
What it does
The model predicts if a team wins or looses a match against another team in the world cup
How I built it
We used data from more than 4000 games in the last 50 years, which contain the teams that were playing, the finish result and the mean offense, midfile, defense and goalkeeping of each team. We used Support Vector Machine to predict which team would win or loose in a match depending on the level of offense, midfile, defense and goalkeeping
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The model predicts with more than 70% accuracy who is going to win, acording to our accuracy test!!!
