My friend Jon injured his ankle and once he got cleared by the doctor to start working out again, he was a little clueless about what to do. He couldn't afford physical therapy or a personal trainer. What's a guy to do? Ask his friends for advice of course. Joe had gone through something similar, so gave Jon a list of easy workouts to do at the gym that would help him out. But once at the gym, Jon didn't know the proper technique and forgot the order he was supposed to do things in, so spent half his time there just googling things and looking at the scrap of paper he had the workout written on. No fun at all.

I decided to design an app for Jon & people like him. Maybe you're trying to recover from an injury, maybe you're trying to lose weight, maybe you're just competing with your friends. Whatever it is, a guide telling you what you're doing step-by-step with your playlist in the background is helpful and fun! So here's Workout Buddies, doing just that.

One user loads their favorite workout and posts it on their profile. You can go to their link and do their workout to their music or put a different playlist. At the end, you have the option to report that you did it & show off, or just add it to your log so you can see how you're doing. You can edit or skip sections if they don't work for you and even re-save the workout as your own so you can shortcut to it later if you like yours better. If you want to help the greater good or build your personal training business, you can make your workouts public, so perfect strangers can search by keywords in your workout to discover and work out to your track!
