Inspiration
The rise in popularity of Open source LLMs like chatGPT and its impact on many lives, as well as my interest in AI and where it's headed motivated me to create an AI that aligned more with the needs of the working population.
What it does
As of right now, it uses a texting format to allow users to communicate with an AI that helps them with issues or answers general questions regarding any particular subject of their choosing
How we built it
Using my knowledge of web development, I designed the UI of the main pages using HTML, CSS & JavaScript, I used a system called Botpress to design the chatbots' interface and give the chatbots each individual personality, using basic algorithms and CSS. I used some javascript and Python frameworks including pandas to design the AI.
Challenges we ran into
Getting the AI to function as intended required a lot of training and learning. Botpress had a lot of issues as well trying to give the chatbot my own UI instead of the default.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Designing & Deploying the AI. I didn't think I'd be able to give them personalities and train them on individual subjects already but I managed to pull it off in time
What we learned
Designing AI isn't as difficult as it seems, as I initially thought something like that would require years of experience, but enough dedication can get it done. During the course of designing my app, I also picked up some data science and learned a lot more about Javascript, lambdas, and JSON files
What's next for workflow.AI
I plan to scale workflow.AI to be easily integrated into the lives of its users, by being able to call, voice chat, and have it generate media, emails, notes... As AI advances, I plan on fully taking advantage of its features and integrating them into my platform as well. Will soon be available on mobile and desktop devices as an application and even browser add-ons for easier access
