Why We Built This

Sorting waste correctly is confusing. We saw too many recyclable items ending up in landfills and too much compostable waste clogging up trash bins. That’s where technology comes in. WhichBin combines the power of image recognition with up-to-date waste management data to take the guesswork out of throwing things away.
