Inspiration
We were inspired by successful puzzle games in the video game industry.
What it does
The game lets the player explore platforming environments, using "logic wires" to traverse to areas not accessible by foot.
How we built it
We used unity with C# scripting to develop modular objects to easily create more puzzles after initial implementation.
Challenges we ran into.
As this was our first time using unity and C#, it was very difficult to understand the basics and other ideas as they were introduced to our game making process.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are very proud of the fact the base of many of our solutions and ideas came from our own teamwork. However, it wouldn't have been possible without the help we received from mentors and other hackers during the event.
What we learned
We learned how to use Unity, how to seek valuable resources in a learning environment, and how to identify the strengths of our team in order to complete our project in a timely and efficient manor.
What's next for Wired: Basic Logic Game
We have talked over potentially developing the game further, adding better animations along with more puzzles when we have the free time to spare.
