QuickHealth seeks to empower and include everyone through its accessibility, online format, and mission.

Mission Statement

That's why we've made it our mission to provide pro-bono, non-profit healthcare services to those who need it most. Through our innovative mobile app, we're breaking down barriers and making healthcare accessible to all. We're committed to creating a world where healthcare is a right, not a privilege, and where every individual has the opportunity to lead a healthy, fulfilling life. Challenges

For several reasons, developing QuickHealth was challenging for the team. First, we used Figma for the first time, which can be a steep learning curve for any new user. Additionally, it was Peter's first hackathon, and we had to navigate the time constraints and pressure that came with it. Another obstacle the team faced was designing the UI from scratch, which was time-consuming and tedious. Lastly, none of us had prior knowledge or experience in healthcare, which made it difficult to understand the intricacies of this industry. Despite these challenges, we persevered and developed an app that provides valuable healthcare to its users.

What We Learned

Creating an app like QuickHealth gave the team several valuable learning experiences. One of the key takeaways was learning how to build a solid and cohesive team. We learned how to delegate assignments and roles to each other, ensuring everyone worked efficiently towards our goal. In addition, we became more proficient in using Figma through trial and error. Overall, the development of QuickHealth provided a new learning experience for the team, allowing us to acquire skills to use in the future!

What's Next for QuickHealth?

As a team, we plan to take QuickHealth to the next step by continuing development and perfecting the diagnosis AI. This technology will allow individuals to receive medical attention quickly and efficiently from the comfort of their own homes. By combining AI and licensed professionals, QuickHealth aims to provide accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans that cater to each individual's unique needs. This will improve healthcare quality and make it more accessible to those facing barriers to traditional in-person appointments. As QuickHealth continues to expand and enhance its technology, it has the potential to revolutionize the healthcare industry and transform the way people receive medical care.
