Problem

Many local Canadian businesses face a critical shortage of IT manpower. In these environments, non-technical workers often struggle to describe technical issues accurately, leading to vague support tickets that require hours of manual investigation by overstretched IT staff. This communication gap results in long wait times, unresolved technical debt, and significant productivity losses.

Solution

Ts-Rx is designed to solve this by:

  • Bridging the Gap: Translating non-technical descriptions and raw monitoring alerts into precise, evidence-based technical reports.
  • Accelerating Triage: Reducing Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR) by autonomously performing the "heavy lifting" of log scanning and codebase correlation.
  • Boosting Productivity: Providing IT teams with a clear, actionable summary and analysis of root causes, allowing them to focus on remediation rather than manual evidence gathering.
  • Tailnet diagnostic: New Tailscale CLI command (tailscale doctor) which gathers and reports diagnostic information about the tailnet itself.

Bigger Picture

Ts-Rx is built around Tailscale networks. More teams are using Tailscale to run internal services, connect devices, and host tools across a private tailnet. Setting all of that up is easy, but figuring out why something stopped working isn’t always. This tool lives directly inside the Tailscale dashboard and acts like a diagnostic layer for the whole network. It monitors services running across the tailnet, checks connectivity between nodes, and helps explain failures when something goes wrong.
