Description
Inspiration: Picture this - AI so smart, it turns whispers into wisdom. That's what sparked WhisperWise. We saw the magic of Generative AI and thought, "Hey, let's make something that not only listens but really gets what people are saying."
What it does: Imagine a tool that's like a super-smart friend who listens to all your customers, no matter how they reach out - text, a call, or even a video. WhisperWise is that friend for businesses. It's got this cool Generative AI brain that understands all the feels and thoughts customers are sharing.
How we built it: We got our hands on these awesome Gemini APIs and went to town. We built a front end that's like a window into what WhisperWise can do. It's slick, it's easy, and it shows off how this tool can totally change the game.
Challenges we ran into: So, we hit a snag with videos. We realised the videos were streamed in as images, and we were missing all the good stuff people were saying. But hey, we love a good puzzle. We whipped up a pipeline that turns those videos into audio, transcribes it, and then - boom - we've got audio and text right next to the video for top-notch analysis.
Accomplishments we're proud of: We're super stoked about cracking the video-audio challenge. Now WhisperWise doesn't miss a beat, and businesses get the full scoop on what their customers are saying.
What we learned: It's all about what you do with the tools you've got. Google and others built the AI playground; we just jumped in and started playing, creating something that businesses can really use.
What's next for WhisperWise: We strongly believe that this functionality could be easily brought in as a service for Google business customers to get comprehensive coverage of their business.
