Inspiration
We found the challenged proposed by Meritis really fascinating and we saw at the moment, all possibilities of merging hardware and software stuff.
What it does
Wheely is an electric car controlled by physical blocks. It allows people to learn easily code basics like for loop, functions and sequences. When the blocks are aligned, the program is sent through a cloud to the car. Then, the device executes the action in real time.
How we built it
At the beginning, we wanted to use the DragonBoard from MLH Challenge but we met a real difficulty about programming the micro controller located on the header of the device.
But we didn't give up and we replaced it by a Raspberry Pi, a device we knew a lot more.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into the Meritis challenge and we try the MLH challenge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the choices we made facing the evidence that we had to give up the DragonBoard and replace it by a Raspberry Pi.
