Web3Billing

Web3Billing is a subscription and recurring payment platform designed specifically for Web3 applications. It aims to become the Stripe equivalent for blockchain-based products. The project enables Web3 startups, SaaS platforms, and decentralized applications to monetize their services using crypto subscriptions without building complex smart contract logic from scratch. The system consists of a smart contract layer for managing subscriptions on-chain and a backend that listens to blockchain events and syncs them with an off-chain database. Merchants can create subscription plans with flexible billing intervals, while users can subscribe using their crypto wallets. Subscription status, renewals, and cancellations are transparently tracked. A web dashboard allows businesses to view active subscriptions, revenue metrics, and subscriber details in real time. Users can manage their subscriptions and request cancellations easily. Webhooks are supported so merchants can automate access control in their applications based on subscription events. The project focuses on simplicity, transparency, and developer experience. By abstracting blockchain complexity, Web3Billing lowers the barrier for Web3 monetization and enables faster product launches. The MVP demonstrates end-to-end subscription creation, renewal tracking, cancellation handling, and real-time updates. This project is developed as a solo founder initiative and showcases how decentralized billing infrastructure can match the usability of traditional Web2 payment systems.
