Inspiration
Being a group of college students who have suffered from aches and pains due to physical activity that consistently became injuries due to a lack of proper stretching, advice, and injury information.
What it does
We.Med is an app that helps people alleviate pain in their body through stretches without the panic due to misinformation. It also targets and emphasizes women's bodies, not making them the default. We do this by analyzing someone's history and sports involvement to help narrow down the issues they do or may face and helps women with menstrual issues allowing for an inclusive space for everyone.
How we built it
We used Expo.dev to find an app template that we then molded to suit our vision with our own Javascript and design.
Challenges we ran into
The learning process of learning the code as we go along.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Creating this app that helps solve issues for everyone and advocates for women.
What we learned
We learned how to apply expo software in our project.
What's next for We.Med
Rendering a full body scanner to create a visual to help guide users towards solution through a personalized scan of the user's body, which will create further implementations toward a personal space of the user's body.
