None of us knew web development or Firebase and we managed to work and implement that in a span of 12 hours

We managed to develop different components with very less prior knowledge about the technologies

I was responsible for creating the push notification server using Firebase cloud messaging. I was also responsible for creating a restify node.js app server which could process the request from android client and also query amazon dynamodb database to filter the data for required results. The server was also able to send push notifications to specified devices based on the result from the query.

I worked mostly on the front-end engineering, UI/UX for the native Android application. Learnt about and used Google Maps API for the first time in an application. Helped the team in the technology stack setup as well.
